I am a seventy-nine year old retired USAF fighter pilot living in Millville, Utah who has been doing genealogy research for over thirty years. It all started in 1981, with a hand typed 6" x 9" 3 ring binder, provided to my father by Edna Emily Reh (Helfer) Hillard, containing information on less than 100 people. It has evolved to over 2,000 ancestors and relatives. |
Find A Grave allows me to provide my relatives with a little genealogy along with photos so they can better relate to their ancestors. My line of ancestors is indicated by • Name •. My earliest know Hillard ancestor is • Guy H. Hillard • .
I get a lot of satisfaction providing additional information for those in other parts of the country. It is my way of returning the favors everybody has and is doing for me.
I have extensive records for the Hillard family and their associated branches which I will gladly provide to anyone who would like the information.
If you find any errors, or have additional information for any of my memorials, please notify me. If you have better or additional photos, please upload them to the memorial or email them to me.
Please feel free to use any of the photos that I have posted on FAG. A credit would be nice, but is not required.

|Karen Kelly||Hillard family info|
My husband’s great grandmother was Ida Elizabeth McGinnis through her marriage to his great grandfather, Samuel Milton Kelly. According to the death certificate, her mother’s maiden name was Emma Jane Bulhman (sp). According to the obituary, she also had 3 half brothers, Edward, Andrew, Richard and a sister, Etta Hillard (Etta's married name was Bowser). Would you happen to know who their father was and when Emma Jane and him were married? So far, I have been unable to find any information on the Hillard part of the family.

I loved reading the memorial you left for Ralph Spencer Hill (a distant cousin with common ancestor Nathaniel Hill- discovered through ancestry.com). Biographies like this make the ancestor hunt so much more interesting! Fun to see connections- Yosemite (a favorite place of mine) and Sebastopol (we lived in Petaluma). Makes me wonder if our paths every crossed! Thank you!

You are welcome. Sorry there was glare on the monument from the sun. I will try and get a better photo the next time I am up there.
|Susan Pearce Page||RE: Mary Denning Hillard|
That is fine, did you see I added a memorial for her mother, Bertha Denning?
|Susan Pearce Page||Mary Denning Hillard|
Placed an updated photo on the memorial of Mary Denning Hillard 135972467 with death year engraved.
|Heidi Short||Elizabeth C Short|
Just fact checking on the parentage of Elizabeth.
Elizabeth C. Short was the daughter of Luella Faris (1760-1821) and Joshua Short (1752-1841).
Where did those facts come from?

I have transferred his memorial to you.
Thank you for your service to our country.

Thank you for the links to his parents, would you like a transfer of his memorial page?
I will add a photo when the grass sod has been installed, makes a much better photo.

You are so welcome. Blessings,
|CherylA||RE: Peter Dunkle Painter|
Thanks for clearing up the Licking thing. I probably should have googled that. I don't need a transfer. He married a first cousin of ours and I don't have any additional information, so I don't think it's necessary. Thanks for the offer.
Are you related to the Dunkles? I know there's someone we share, I just can't think of who at the moment.
