Hello, when I was a little girl, my grandpa would take us on hunting and fishing trips and if there was a cemetery within 50 miles we would stop and do a walk through. Grandpa would tell me about the people who resided there. I loved the stories and I make it a tradition to tell my children and grandchildren about those wonderful people who came before.

As a kid several times a year we would visit 5 cemeteries and trim around the headstones, pull the weeds and again tell the stories.

As a teenager my first "official" job was a caretaker's assistance of a cemetery. This was done before the purchase of a gas lawn mower, and trimming was not done with a weed whacker.

Family history is my passion and I love it when I am able to find something new. I am very grateful for those who share with me and for those with patience for my stories.

Thank you for the beautiful memorial for my mother. She died in December and I was surprised to find her memorial already on Find a Grave. It is very complete and accurate. She was a wonderful mother and loved genealogy.

Today I got her daughter's permission to add my cousin Charlene's memorial.. but you beat me to the punch... I'll let her daughter know I didn't get the honor. Charlene was a wonderful woman and a lovely cousin.. and a family historian of the heart..

I have a site I just made for Delorus at the Ogden City Cemetery. When I went to link him with his family I noticed that you had a site for him also. Except you are in SLC. I just thought you might want to know I have a head stone and the record from Ogden City Cemetery says he is buried here in Ogden.

I have also added a photo of Florence on your site for Florence. They are buried right next to each other.

I am more than happy to let you have Delorus' site. I do not know if you can change cemeteries on the site. or if you would like to manage the one I have. Let me know

Thanks Nancie
