What can I say ... I'm a cemetery crawler! I am also a very active genealogist and family history buff. I have grown passionate about FAG and try to keep it as historically accurate as possible.|
Many of my memorials are my family but I have also created a number of memorials for a cemetery close to where I live. I also travel a lot and anytime I am in a cemetery I look for interesting or endangered memorials to document. I especially try to document children. In addition I have recently accepted responsibility for a number of memorials created by Fred King. He created almost 70,000 memorials during the more than 10 years he was an active contributor. Fortunately before he died he transferred most of his memorials to a friend and she is trying to find people to share in their maintenance.
To submit a change or transfer request please click on the "Edit" tab (upper right corner) on the memorial followed by clicking the appropriate change type. If you request a transfer please tell me your relationship. I will consider all non-FAG guideline transfer requests but may not honor them if I don't feel it is in the best interest of the memorial. I will honor transfer requests that meet the FAG guideline requests unless I am also closely related.
PLEASE do not post obituaries to my memorials. See this FAQ concerning obituaries on FAG. If you wish to have them added to the memorial as a bio then please rephrase them redacting all references to living people and submit them to me as an Edit (see above). Also let me know the source of the information and where a complete obituary can be found. I reserve the right to rephrase and redact what you submit.

Thanks, Brenda, for the info. Given it, I debated taking down the pictures, but decided that, having invested the time to photograph the spot where the interment record claims he is buried, it is best at this point just to leave them up. However, I changed the wording in the captions (including adding your info about from the mortuary) to make it clear that it seems most likely that this is not really where his cremated remains are despite what the interment record claims.

Glenda, I have the others also but want to see if I can get better photos. The letters and dates in their stones are the same color as the stone it self and very hard to read.

You are very welcome!

I posted pictures but I am skeptical too, as I explain in the caption. I think they may have mixed up the entries in the interment records for two different people who were cremated within a few days of each other.

I couldn't find a stone or marker for Carolyn McGrath, but found the general area where her grave should be and marked the GPS coordinates on her memorial.

I know the section. Their map doesn't indicate that it is DA but it is known as the pauper section. One of my fiancÚ's ancestors buried a baby there in an unmarked grave less than two weeks after arriving in the USA from Germany, as they were too poor to do anything else. Very sad. But I will look for you. Maybe we will get lucky.

You have listed the gravesite in Trinity as Section DA, Lot 336. However, the Sections are A, or B, or C, or D, but not DA. Is it in Section D or Section A? I will look once I know, but I don't want to look in both places.

Thank you for the transer of Ruth Blackman. Have a great day.

I went by there today and alas the stones have not been repaired yet.
