Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am always delighted to discover that someone has entered information about my far-flung relatives on Find a Grave. I want to do my part by adding as much as I can about the graves in my part of the world.

I have been researching my family history since 1978. A few of the surnames that I am particularly interested in include: Jewell, Holdridge, Brigham, Palmer, Kathrens, Walker, Hunn, Rebman, Carter, Joslin, Demarest, and many more.

Countries where my ancestors lived include: Ireland, Scotland, England, Germany, and France. Some of the states where ancestors have lived include New Hampshire, Vermont, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey, Delaware, Pennsylvania, California, Texas, Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Kentucky, Alabama, Georgia, Arkansas, Missouri, Kansas, Ohio, Iowa, Arizona, and Hawaii.

If you would like me to transfer a memorial, do not hesitate to ask. I can also remove a photo if you have a better one you would like to replace it with.

Please note: I am happy for anyone to use any photos I post on Find A Grave as long as you give me the courtesy of crediting them to me. Thank you in advance.

RE: Jewell Transfers
Thank you. Either way is fine as I am just beginning to wade though some of this line, so I wouldn't fully able to pick particular ones out just yet. I am ok either way.

RE: David Jewell Photo
Yes! Those were the photos I was asking about. I am trying to sort out some of the relationships and have sent a few edits so far. I would be ok with assuming the care of the memorials to try and sort more of it out. Thank you for your time and for adding the photos! :)

David Jewell Memorial Photo
Hello! I noticed that you added a photo to Hannah Jewell's memorial in Jewell Cemetery. Would you mind also adding that photo to David's memorial as well. They share a stone. I sent some edits to the memorial manager because the dates are inaccurate on his memorial. Here is a link to his memorial:

Thank You!

William Paul Palmer
I have done a little more research on Paul and have discovered in someone else Obit that there was a "Paul Palmer Café". Also He was a charter member of the Bay City Lions Club in 1929.

William Paul Palmer
The Cedarvale Cemetery Database is on the TXGENWEB site under Matagorda Co. The information that is posted there is from the database. I have entered in most all of the database that was not already on Find-A-Grave. Betty (belookn4u) has also been working on the photos. As she stated, she photographed that area and has even gone back to the area to double check it. Sorry there is not anymore information. If you would like to manage this sight, please let me know as this person is no kin to me. My greatest desire is to connect family with family. Blessing...

RE: William Paul Palmer
I have been photographing Cedarvale Cemetery and placing those photos on findagrave and txgenweb-matagorda county cemeteries site. I had alrady done section 6, but went by again to be sure I did not miss anything in that plot, so it was easy for me to verify. I can tell you Prissy created that page as she is also working with the genealogical society to get the cemetery brought up to date on burials and photos as I am. She will turn the site over to you if you ask. Our goal is to complete Cedarvale and continue on to the other cemeteries her in Matagorda County. Please let me now if can assist you farther. Betty

Wow - that was really fast. Thank you so much for the edits you did and then transferred her to me. I am most grateful. I would not have found where she was buried (with her mother) had you not entered her on Find A Grave. Most Sincerely - Carolyn Krueger

Charles James Kathrens children
I have only two of Charles's children and hardly any information on Mary Ann Donnelly.

I have Robert T Kathrens and Catherine Kathrens Finney. However, I am thinking there may have been more than just the two? Do you know if there were any others? Do you have any information on Charles and his wife Mary? I am seeming to have no luck in finding much about them except the dreadful story of the Sallie House I keep finding.
