I love exploring and photographing old cemeteries in Maine. I am especially familiar with Androscoggin, Cumberland, Hancock, and York counties. I am a Greater Portland History docent, photographer for Greater Portland Landmarks, a contributor to Friends of Evergreen, and a member of SpiritsAlive.com, the overseers of Eastern Cemetery in Portland, Maine|

Thank you so much for the photo! It's sad that there is no marker for him, but great to see where he is buried.

Thank you for the picture of the grave marker for both Elnathan and the two Louisa's. Do you know if the small grave marker is a Hinckley person or is it some other family?
Again, thank you for the pic.

Thanks for all your help, the Maxwells were very prolific, and your help has helped me figure out some of who belongs with who

yes, well I thought perhaps. Never know. Sorry, but there's no stone located in that plot. This cemetery is extremely organized. As you go down a row, you can put the name into their website, and it tells you the plots. I checked every name around and these were the only Gross in this plot location. Best wishes in your search.

I'm very grateful for the pictures you sent showing such detail of my 3rd g-grandparents gravestone. I wish I could've have been there to take the pics myself, maybe someday. In the meantime, I'm very happy to have your photos.

Thank you so much for finding Jane's headstone.
From the looks of the stone it may not be readable too much longer.
And thank you for all the great work you do on this site.

Thank you for the requested date change. I'll dig around some to try to figure things out. There were a lot of Millikens in Maine so it may take a bit of time!
|Christine King||Thank You|
I appreciate all your efforts in locating and photographing my 3X Great-Aunt's mausoleum. The photos turned out great. It looks like a beautiful final resting place. Thank you so much!
Thank you very much for the photos of the Sacknoff grave marker. Both the close-up image and the view of the surroundings are wonderful, and I am grateful for your time and effort in adding these lovely shots.
