Bio Photo I lived in Maine until 11 yrs. ago. All my genealogy is Maine & N.H. I enjoyed genealogy back in mid-70s for a couple yrs, but then put it aside due to family & work. I picked it up again about 5 yrs. ago and have a terribly fun addiction to it. LOL The families I work on include:
McINTIRE, Benjamin of Falmouth, Maine-b. abt 1747-9
PLAISTED of Franklin Co.,Maine & New Hampshire
DEMERITT of Oxford Co., Maine & New Hampshire
TASH of Maine & New Hampshire

Hi Cindy,
No, I am not related to you. I was recognizing DAR Patriots as so many of our Patriots are not recognized. I will remove that from you Patriot so you can add your own when you go into DAR. Yes I do have several Patriots through DAR.
Glad to have you as a daughter. Vicki

Cram Cemetery
I don't think I can help you with your request for Cram Cemetery. I put the two names into Find a Grave using an index that I found: Centre Harbor Graveyards and Cemeteries. It looks like someone walked the cemeteries and recorded any names that were visible on tombstones. Looking at the index for Cram Cemetery, there are notations of a number of stones that do not have inscriptions on them. In the index that I used, they state.."Cram. Left side of road in woods just past junction McGrillis Hill Road and Waukewant Road. Fieldstone walls."

I live in Boston and don't know the area of Centre Harbor at all. I would suggest making contact with a genealogist in that area who would know more than I do. Sorry.

RE: Zion Hill Cemetery - Hartford, CT
Hi,
Oh, I see. You are referring to Joseph Gleave. That is a photo I am requesting. I am wondering if this is the same person who is my ancestor. I don't remember how I came about the Plot # but I will give it some thought and try to get back to you. I may have gotten it from another Find-A-Grave site.

I read your message and don't understand what you mean. You ask how I found the plot # for the people I posted. I haven't posted any plot #'s, nor are any listed, for the 3 people I have added.

However, the plot number can be obtained by contacting the cemetery office. If it is a municipal cemetery (cared for by a town rather than a church or private entity), I believe you contact the town hall where the cemetery is located.

Good Luck to you,
Linda

Dyer graves
Cindy,
Thank you for your offer, but I'm not related to the Dyers. Someone else has requested the picture. When it gets a little cooler I'm sure one of us will get out there and get a picture.
There's not much shade in Whitney Memorial Park!

Thank you so very much for the photos and braving the intense heat to do it!! I live in NW Louisiana so know how really hot it is. Be careful going out to photograph cemeteries in this heat. We can all wait for our photo requests. They aren't going anywhere.

Best Wishes,
Cheryl
