In early 2011 following the death of my mother at age 95, as I was cleaning out drawers and boxes, I came across scads of family genealogy information and photos that had been accumulated by my father and maternal grandparents over the years. Since that time, I have become obsessed with continuing to trace my family's lineage in the hopes of passing the information down to my children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.|
When I became stuck trying to find the death location of one of my second great grandfathers, Josephus Morgan, I found it on Find A Grave. I was so impressed with this website and the volunteer who had taken photos of his grave, I decided to become a volunteer and give something back to what I had been given. While I signed up to volunteer earlier in 2012, it is only in June that I have taken the plunge and claimed/fulfilled my first missions. I have been bitten by the bug, and hope to complete many more. My wife Marsha has joined me in helping to find sites and trimming the grass and sweeping the leaves off markers. I will be happy to transfer management of memorials I have created to any relative.

|Robert Munson||RE: Sandra Lawrence|
Thanks for for the photo of my cousin Sandra's marker. You've been a big help finding it.
|Zack Lofton||RE: Therkildsens in Brooklawn|
Thank You very much! I'm shocked that his middle initial is shown as "E." and not "H." I've never seen the "E." used anywhere. Thanks again!

You are always so helpful. Thanks for all you do and thak you for understanding how our family is trying to get these memorials developed. Hope you have a swell spring.
|Gina Reardon-Gaddis||RE: Kiersteads in Brooklawn|
Thank you so much for the photograph of Arlene Kierstead. I will be putting in a request for Dana and Edgar Kierstead, as well. Thank you again for all you do for Find A Grave.
|Leslie Vaughn||RE: Calvin & Ada Lane|
Thanks Peter. That must be so frustrating to have a picture and then it is gone. I think I have already requested a picture of Ada, so if you would just pop it into her memorial, that would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks for all you do for the Find A Grave community.

Thanks for doing the leg work there. I'll see if I can find any more information about Annie, and I'll get the duplicates taken care of.
