Hello to all, I have always liked walking through cemeteries marveling at how old some of the tombstones were.

My mother and I were the keepers of the family history. Mom passed away in 2008. Since her death, I have been trying to update the family history book and take pictures of the family tombstones so they won't be forgotten.

And then I came across findagrave and I got hooked.

It saddens me to see tombstones in disrepair, neglected and forgotten. It is awful when someone dies and there isn't anybody left to care. How many people are going to slip into
oblivion because their tombstone didn't last another winter?

When I put pictures on findagrave; if the wording on that tombstone disentegrates, then there will be a picture of that stone so maybe someone searching their ancestors will see the picture and care.

If you have any corrections or additions to any memorial I have put on or wish a transfer, use the edit tab on the memorial page. Any emails sent directly to me will be considered spam if it does not say find a grave in the subject line. If you wonder why your email is not answered, it was probably considered spam. I will only do additions, corrections,or transfers when the edit tab is used on the memorial page.

Because obituaries are copyrighted, I will not put them onto memorials. Please don't ask. If you must have the obituary on the memorial, then I will transfer the memorial to you. Use the edit tab on the memorial page. I need your
contributor number to transfer any memorial to
you.

RE: sarah porter & james clark obits
Yes, I understand. I just didn't know if you wanted to glean any pertinent information from said obituary that you might feel important or interesting to add to the Bio.
Thanks,
Julie

Re: Angeline & Herman Reeger
Hi Barbara,

Here is that info you need. Angeline & Herman G. Reeger Greenwood Cemetery in White (Indiana County) PA and my # is 47839576. I also tried to send it the other way again so hopefully you'll be able to transfer them.
If you are related to Bessie and have any info that might aid in my search I'd like to discuss it with you. She is my husband's great grandmother and I can find very little out about her.

Thanks again,
Christine

Re. Angeline & Herman Reeger
Hi Barbara,

I have recently gotten into geneology and have been searching my husband's ancestry. Angeline & Herman Reeger are his grandparents. Would you please consider transferring management of these memorials to me as they are members of our family.

Thanks,
Christine
