Lash family in Meng Cemetery - Ashland County, Ohio
Hi Jim - You took some really great photos of the headstones (and area around the headstones) of Peter Lash (a Revolutionary War patriot) and his wife, Charity (Snook) Lash. Unfortunately, your two memorials are actually duplicate memorials for Peter and Charity. (You probably didn't notice this because Peter's had no dates on it and Charity's was written like the stone "Charety" Lash.) I have already sent the other memorial holders updates with the full dates of birth and death and correct spelling for Charity - so soon the original two memorials will be up to date. But, would you be so kind as to please add your nice headstone photos to the two original memorials before you delete yours? Your headstone photo for Charity is much clearer and you have more shots of Peter's headstone.

The original memorials are:

Peter Lash - 9082168 - added 2004

Charety Lash - 23072787 - added 2007

Yours (with photos) are:

Peter Lash - 48519286 added 2010

Charity Lash - 48520016 added 2010

Thank you very much and please let me know if you have any questions! Happy Holidays : )

RE: Photo at Asbury Cem.
Hey Jim,
Thanks for trying to get a photo of the grave for my request. It is my wife's great grandfather.

Merry Christmas!

I too am looking at Rhoda Greene 49604808.

According to the tombstone Rhoda was the daughter of Silas and Mary Greene not Leander and his wife.

There are two Rhodas. One Rhoda Amanda and one just Rhoda.

Will you clear this up.

Mr. Geary,

I just noticed that you had taken a picture of my gr-gr-gr grandfather's headstone (Henderson Sanders), and I want to thank you. It was a nice surprise to visit his grave and see the picture. I also wanted to note that you posted the picture of the birthday (3/12) of one of his gr-gr-grandsons, my dad, J.B. Sanders, Jr. Thank you again. It means so much and especially today.
