Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have a great interest in genealogy as my ancestors have been in Centre County PA since the late 1700's. On my fathers side my ancestors moved to Centre County from Baltimore where my 5th GGF was born in 1709. On my mothers side of the family, in the early 1800's our family started the first tannery in Philipsburg and in the mid 1800's founded The Daily Journal, a local news paper.

RE: Death record
Thank you for the information, I live on the west coast, but have many relatives in the area of Clearfield. There is also a Clearfield Historical Center. It has a few Historians available to help research family members, but it is only open on Sunday and Thursdays.
Thank you

RE: Death record
Yes it actually does help, that you have committed yourself to research, is an admiral ambition. You say you have marriage records dating back to the 1700's, I have been looking for many marriage certificates for my tree and am having problems finding them, most that I have found are on familysearch.com, but still am looking for many more, in the Karthus,
Clearfield, Pa area. Good luck with your research.
Best Regards

Death record
So as I understand it you research every memorial you create whether family or someone you have no connection to. That must be quite time consuming for you.

RE: Catherine Sarah Michaels Maurer
Thank you for deleting the memorial you created for Sarah Catherine Michaels Maurer. You must not have known there was another memorial for her with a photo of her headstone.
Best Regards

If you look at her headstone on the other memorial it clearly says Catherine S Maurer, memorial #139237280. Do you have a copy of her death certificate? I'm not sure how you created the memorial, what documents you used or are you related?
