RE: TASSI GRAVE IN L.I.N.C.
Thank you so much for taking the photos of my great grandparents graves. I am new to genealogy and Find A Grave. I went to a graveyard today near work to see if I could take a picture of a gravestone someone was requesting a photo of and now realize how much time and effort it can take to find a grave. I really appreciate your effort and such a quick response.

RE: L.I.N.C. REQUEST
Hi Glenn --

Many thanks for writing. Unfortunately it looks like you're right however -- despite the birth date being in the correct range, this does appear to be a different Edgar Christian than the one I'm looking for. "Mine" was definitely a Lieutenant, and was with the Army Air Force, not the Army Engineers.

Am so far having no luck on the usual WWII enlistment sites -- and his full info isn't even included on the official 485th Bomb Group website -- but we know he was part of my great-uncle's crew.

I'll keep trying though. Cheers,

John B.
