I enjoy genealogy and did quite a bit for my mother before she passed away. I plan, in the future, to add all the information I have on the families to this site and other search sites for those who may be interested in the family histories I have and with hope others will share their information with me.
I am also familiar with most of the cemeteries of Wilson County, Texas. If you have a question, please ask and I will try to help you.
I am currently researching the following names: Whittington, Hobbs, LeClere, Sample, Lee, Garrison, Clegg, Henrie and many more on my collateral lines. Hobbs and Whittington and Lee are my direct lines. I am also a reunited adoptee with an entire new family line to research. The main line I am researching on my bio family is Scherffius, along with Mansfield and Kennedy. | |

 | Maria Aldrete Thanks for looking for her headstone/marker. I am sorry you couldn't locate her but grave markers do disappear and wear with time. | | | LKat

Thanks for the short cut with putting the members # in that was a good suggestion. I'm keeping you as a friend if you don't mind I may need to ask for help sometime . Barb | | | Frances Spillman
 | SCHERFFIUS FAMILY Hi Hallie, It has been some time since we last communicated. Sorry about that. I had knee replacement last July and am starting to do better until I pitched out 3 steps into the garage and sprained my ankle. Hope to get back into genealogy now that I can get to my computer.
Don't know if you knew our dear buddy, Billye Schulle, passed away January 8. I truly miss her wonderful personality. We did so much work together.
Just touching base with you. Maybe we can do more Scherffius work. Frances Spillman | | | James Stair

 | RE: Frank M. LeClere The Sarah LeClere buried at Confederate is the wife of James Buchanan LeClere. He was Louis's half brother. There is also another half brother Rev. George Amandas LeClere. He also is buried in Texas. Half of the children moved to Texas, some stayed in Pennsylvania and some moved to Ohio. As far as the birth year of Frank's father Louis, I am not sure, but it looks like he served in the Civil War. Louis P. There are a few errors in the census records as far as his age goes I would rely on the death record as 1842. I believe the 1836 birth year would reflect the 1880 census (Spelled LeClare)where in 1910 it would be accurate (He was living with his son Frank at that time.)What cemetery did you believe Louis was buried at in an unmarked grave? Was it Confederate or with Sara at Oak Park? | | | Julie Myers Stephen
