From the Marshall County area of West Virginia. Currently living in Wetzel County, WV. I will accept requests for photos, but please be patient. My health isn't what it used to be and cannot stand the cold weather. If you put in a request in December, don't expect me to go looking until the snow melts in March or April. Any photos or orbits that I supply this site are free for the using by anyone.

UPDATE: Recently returned to work. Makes it harder for me to have time to get photos. However, once things as work slack off, will be back out there roaming the hills and dales. Please be patient, I'll try to get to your request as soon as possible.

Sincerely,

thechief1963

RE: Sugar Grove Cemetery
Thanks - I also work for a living but I am thinking of doing some business stuff if this works out.

I do it to relieve stress and connect families.

I have lots of graves in Marshall and Wetzel Counties.

I have recorded both family cemeteries and now I need to do the SAPP Cemetery.

I also need to run up to Butler and Armstrong Counties to take some family pics.

Good Luck

RE: Hugh Caldwell
I have more to upload. I live in the area very close.

Yes I am doing the entire cemetery.

I will plot and map the GPS of each grave next.

I am also talking to long family friends and I have I identified locations of individuals which have no markers at all.

I am in the process of noting their records.

I need to do a number of rubbings to eliminate and identify which EVAN's Family member are on the 3 stones beside one another.

If you let me know who you are looking for I will attempt to get you the information.

Thanks
Rhonda

Find A Grave Memorial# 82093471 created 2011 you have listed on this memorial as a sibling to herself.

Find A Grave Memorial# 83052844 - is the same Doris Roberts that you have listed as sibling on the above memorial. This one should be deleted

Would you transfer Alva Doyle to me please? He was the son of my grandmother, Della Mae Thetford, buried at Fort Sam Houston, Texas with her second husband, my grandfather, Allen Thetford. Della Mae's first husband was Benjamin Oliver Doyle. Alva Doyle died in a house fire as a child, along with his brother Benjamin Oliver and grandmother, my great-grandmother, Rachel Evaline Graham McBride. I am having trouble finding his brother Benjamin Oliver's grave because his death certificate only lists his name as Benjamin Oliver, not Benjamin Oliver Doyle, Jr.

Comment on Memorial "Daughter of William Hartley and Margaret Garner birth year is 1843 per the death certificate"

This information is incorrect. She was the daughter of Jared Nelson Goddard and Martha Patty Garner.

Can we get that comment removed or corrected.

Thanks.

I have visited this cemetery and have a couple questions that I hope you can help with.

My great grandparents George Henry and Golda Sylva (Suter) Schwing are said to be buried in this cemetery. My uncle tells me that they have no gravestone, but that the baby granddaughters Sonda and Charlotte Schwing are buried at the head or feet of George and Golda.

Can you verify that they are buried there? What would we need to do if we were to get a headstone?

Also, can you verify that Earnest/Ernest Suter is buried there. His father was William who is buried there along with his brothers. There are some stones that look like the top is missing. I've been searching for Ernest for a very long time.

Thanks for your help.
