I am a native of Sheboygan WI and presently live in Dane Co, WI. I have been involved in genealogy since about 1997, primarily in the Sheboygan County area. Surnames of particular interest to me are Head, McTaggart, Gartman, Wolf, Kleckner, Fenner, Schwenner and Sternig.|
I grew up across the street from a cemetery and find cemeteries fascinating. They are peaceful and historical and wonderful displays of stone art.
Additions, corrections and transfer requests are welcome.

Thank you for so swiftly adding the info I sent for Amanda Heimke. Unfortunately, I must have needed a nap because I accidently put her maiden name in the nickname box. Oooops. Sorry! I have sent a correction and I'm sorry I troubled you twice on this one.
Have a good week, Jerry!
Here's to teamwork!
p.s. Love Dane County. I'm a MadTown junkie. Wish I could get up there more often. Hope the flooding is under control now.

Please review the obit. Three years of dress material should be three yards of dress material.
Funny what the fingers do!

I got your edit for the Riordans. Are you related? If so, I can make transfers.

|Sue Oliver||Mary & John Nicholson|
I was just entering in information to my tree from my 2nd great grand aunt, Mary Madden-Nicholson and I found your posts for her family on Findagrave.com. They are all buried in Calvary Cemetery, Sheyboygan. Thank you for posting all of these!
I did find one error that I thought should be fixed......and I only know this from my Aunt Liz who did genealogy in the 1980s..... John Nicholson and Mary Nicholson were actually brother and sister, not married, as indicated on Findagrave.
Apparently Pat and Mary Nicholson had 5 children, none of whom got married and the family is all buried together. There is one male child missing from the cemetery----apparently they had one more son who became a priest and they never heard from him again. I don't have a name, birth or death date for him.
Thanks, Sue Oliver
I have been working on compiling genealogy information on my family tree. As a result I am requesting the transfer of the memorials of my two grandfathers:
Clarence Nicodemus Knauf -- Memorial #46335510,
Erwin Peter Wolf -- Memorial #52092922.
Thank you for the work you do for this site!

You are one busy man! All of the notes are added and they are there for others in the future to find and appreciate. Many thanks!

Hello Jerry - I'm doing some genealogy work and also am a new member of Find-A-Grave (fulfilled my first grave request yesterday!). I am trying to locate the grave of my 2nd great grandfather, Heinrich Kurtz (12 Mar 1823 - 31 May 1889). It appears that he is in both the Wildwood and the Salem Plank cemeteries (dates match). Can you shed some light on this?! Are these adjacent cemeteries and there is a duplicate memorial? (one has a photo and the other does not). Thanks!! Diane Haase

Many thanks for the various tidbits. I worked from a list from the Research Center at Falls. Sad to say, there were/are many errors. The gravestone photos are great!
