I am attempting to document all of my ancestors in Southwest Wisconsin. I also find and photograph solitary graves of Civil War Soldiers or otherwise unaccompanied Veteran graves.|
If I am credited with a memorial of a family member of yours, that is not in mine, please use the "Edit, Suggest a Correction" option to request transfer, I would be happy to oblige.
Recently I have found many of my photographs uploaded to other sites without so much as a mention of who it really belongs to. I have always given permission to those who have ASKED FOR IT !
If the photo is of a JACOBSON, JACKSON, GORDON, FORSETH or related family, it's probably already on Ancestry.com for you to "SAVE" to your tree.
"A people which takes no pride in the noble achievements of remote ancestors will never achieve anything worthy to be remembered with pride by remote descendants".

|Clairine Johnson||Impressed with your stories of the families|
Barry, I am a research 'nut' that not only looks up my ancestors, but I 'extremely' enjoy learning about them, which leads me to this. Thank you so much for the stories you leave on the memorials. I can 'imagine' some of their life, through your stories and photos. I wish I had photos to add to my tree. I hope I will be able to add more stories of the relatives I know.

Did you ever find out anything from your friend about the photo of Cage as an adult? I would still love to have a copy of it. Or you could add it to his memorial and I can just copy it from there for my family files.

Hi, Barry. I rec'd an email from you re George Jenkin Jr at Lake Forest Cemetery. The citation that he was in the Navy / Vietnam came from a transcription of LF Cemetery Records and is recorded in a book published by the LF Historical Society. Presumably his record is written on a card on file at the cemetery. Hope this helps. RL

Thank you barry. I've gotten in touch with the manager of the other memorial. Hope you are staying warm. Susie

Barry, can you tell me what the medals on Terry's uniform were for?

Thank you for posting kind words for my brother, Terry Burnham on his Find A Grave page. He is greatly missed by his family.

Thank you so much for the burial location information on my uncle. He was my father's half-brother. I'd love to have a photo of him as an adult to add to the memorial and for my collection. Could you check with your friend (my cousin) for this? Which child of his are you friends with? I'd love to chat with my cousin. Once again thanks so much. I go by Shay but my name is Shanna Flaherty-Pierce...
Sorry for any confusion about my last post. I do not know the parents of William Fowler. The WRVHS I posted under is White River Valley Historical Society, an organization that I volunteer for, with their cemetery group. Pat

Hi, Our Wm. Fowler is a different Wm. Our older Wm. was married to Eliza Florence and their son, Wm. was born in Iowa in 1861 and married Myrtle Sheldon. Wish I could help. Pat

Congratulations to your Aunt Violette on celebrating her 95th! Sorry about the premature memorial, but when transcribing cemetery records, there is just no way to know if it is a "pre-need". I will transfer her memorial to you, and you can decide whether or not to delete it.
