Genealogy has been a big part of our lives for the last several years. We are as far back as we can go in our family without some very large break through, so we have decided to devote some time to finding the final resting place of as many of our ancestors as possible.
Thanks to Findagrave we are making some progress. Now on our trips, we always check for photo requests in the area and are trying to give as many photos as we receive. We also try to take photos of as many old or unique headstones as possible. We see too many old headstones that are unreadable or partially destroyed, we want to do our part to save in pictures as many as we can.
Please report any errors we post (we want to be as correct as possible).

Thomas Jett
Hey there, and yes your right about Thomas being the son of William and Janie. The records were wrong on find a grave so I asked the contributor for a transfer to me instead of trying to explain the whole thing to her. I just got that transfer last night and got it all fixed up. It also goes with this Jett line because I have found 3 of the siblings from this line moved from Kentucky to Centerville Ohio. Thomas, Elizabeth and Corine. All 3 buried close to each other in the Centerville Cemetery. I am also photo copying my old pics and preserving them for future generations on find a grave. I have a picture of William Jett. If I can ever get that contributor to transfer the memorial to me I will post that there. Thanks for your help, Julie

Mary E Sensabaugh Baker
Thank you for the transfer. I am wondering if there are any Sensabaughs buried there?

Tabor connection
Thank you for replying. Cool think we have emailed before or another person I was talking to also doing the stovall/tabor connection.
Maybe we have a family hookup somewhere down the road. I've followed my lines from cumberland Pennsylvania to Bedford Virginia to hardinsburg. Not sure of other brother sister lines yet. But have seen a lot of info on stovall/tabor.
Thank you again. Tom tabor

Charles Hummert in Alton Cemetery
Sounds like he is probably "your" Charles--I'll be glad to transfer him to you if you want. I don't have access to any different info than what you could find by searching.

I've been updating several branches of my family recently and have noticed dozens of cases where the Social Security claim date is many years before the person died. From what I've seen of people sending details for people in Alton Cemetery, the burial dates are within a few days of the death dates. Of course there could be exceptions.
