Please use the ‘EDIT' tab for all bios, corrections, and link additions, transfer requests and queries regarding the memorials we maintain. It makes it easier and avoids any confusion|
I have been an avid genealogy researcher for not only my own families but I have helped my friends as well.
I have taken MANY photos of grave markers in my area of Louisiana for Find A Grave. Many volunteers have helped in my searches in New England. This is my way of paying it back. PLEASE let me know if you find typos, duplications, or errors in my submissions. I really want to know so that they can be corrected.
I try to add as many obituaries as I can to help others find their people.
NEW FINDAGRAVE FEATURE
"FindaGrave has added a new editing function to all members. Check the 'Edit' tab on your profile page for pending edit requests for your memorials."
You currently have one or more such edit requests on your profile page. Most edit requests are no longer sent from FindaGrave with an email notice to the memorial creator/current manager. You have to go to your profile page and check the Edit tab to see the requests for additions or changes to your memorials.
Please check your profile page so that the requested edits can be processed. FindaGrave has made this change to facilitate rapid handling of multiple edit requests.
Please contact me with any questions or requests.

|AB||Help with a memorial|
I am trying to add the link to my Father's siblings memorial pages but when I go under edit relationships it doesn't give me the option to add a sibling... just gives me the option to add a spouse. Help?

Recently I was visiting my parents graves out at Sallier Cemetery and noticed a concrete slab becoming exposed next to my Great Great Grandfathers grave. I returned today and started excavating it. Since they cleaned the Cemetery more graves are being washed by the rain and becoming exposed. This one has a name etched in the concrete, however I didn't bring enough water to finishing washing it so will return in a few weeks to try and identify the grave. In hopes it is my Great Great Grandmother Marie Natalie "Granger" Farque. I know she is buried in Sallier and logice says next to my GrGrGrandfather. Keeping my fingers crossed.
In the future I will walk the cemetery with an iron bar looking for more graves just beneath the dirt. I was out there most of this morning scraping and digging this grave to expose it further. I guess I still have some Genealogy curiosity left in me after all.
