I'm sorry - I don't recall you telling me that you had no picture. I thought maybe you had kept the one that you put on Clifford's memorial. There is no picture on Marjorie's memorial. Please forgive me.
|AlongTheWay||RE: Pending Edits|
Thanks for following up - super! All the best to you!
Just wondered if you are aware of a fairly new Edit system that rolled out early this year? When you are signed into Find A Grave, on your Contributor page, you will see a new tab labeled Edits. If you have pending edits, that tab will display a number (well, right now, it does not display a number, if there are only requests to link family - an issue Find A Grave is aware of).
Click on that Edit tab, and choose from a variety of options. In your "Edits sent to me that I need to review", you should see edits for: Emma Pickard and Lucia Atkins; perhaps other edits as well. Again, just wondered if you were aware of this new system. Thanks for your help & all you do on Find A Grave!

Thanks for the photo of the grave of Captain John Baer at Riverside Cemetery. I have been researching the 120th Ohio Volunteer Infantry for the last 13 yrs in order to identify the men and tell about their lives. I would like permission to use your photos on my site and on any CD or print copy of my research that I will give to the Wayne County library in Wooster OH. I always give credit for the photos.
Thanks for any help.
Thank you for the transfer of the Harriet Mawney memorial. I have a particular interest in this French Huguenot family.--Stan
|Bailey North||Regarding Curtis M. Dye memorial #18917804|
Just wanted to give you a little more information on Curtis M. Dye #18917804. He was born in Medina, OH on March 9th 1855 to Hezikiah W. Dye(b.abt.1823 d. 1880) and Jerusha M.(Bishop)Dye(b.1837 d.1912).
His wife Lucy's uncle Jesse Stoddard was married to Jerusha Bishop Dye's sister Sybil. Curtis grew up working on his father's farm in Casco, Allegan Co. Michigan which is just north of South Haven, Van Buren Co. MI.
I would welcome any more information that you have about the Stoddards, Bishops, and Dyes of Medina, Ohio. My gr gr grandmother was Henrietta Bishop another sister to Sybil and Jerusha. There are many mentions of Curtis and Lucy in my gr gr grandfather's diaries.

Thank you for creating and transferring the memorial for Dr Chester James Hill, III. I have updated it with what information I have so far.
I wanted to let you know how grateful I am to you for your volunteer work, as it touches so many people, including myself.

Thank you for adding my aunt and uncle, James and Karen Owen. I just wanted to make a correction and I see that on their stone, it is a little hard to make out. Jim's middle name is Blaine.
It is so nice that there are people out their taking the time to enter those that have gone before us.
Note: Husband of Karen L. Owen.
