I am a retired Tech Lab teacher in middle school.|
I enjoy genealogy and creating photo album pages of grandkids. I especially enjoy taking pictures of headstones. Cemeteries are lovely, peaceful and quiet.
PLEASE use the edit button to request transfers and make changes/additions to memorials.
Also, since I take a large number of cemstone photos, it is time prohibitive to clean them, especially the older ones, before taking a pic. I will be glad to retake any photos upon request.
AND, I would really appreciate any email communication to include the memorial numbers of the person(s) to whom you are referring. It is so time consuming (and open to error) to find names using the search tool.

Thanks for Mrs J and Bob's memorial. I have updated them to the best of my ability.

Sorry to leave you a 2nd message....can you tell me what True family members are listed in the directory there? Thank you!
|Lori Munhall||William True|
Thank you for searching for William True's grave. I really appreciate it. That is the cemetery that was listed in the family information I have. I guess something is incorrect. In any case, I am very grateful to you for looking! Thank you so much!
Thank you for your efforts! All info is helpful. I think I will leave up the request in case anyone finds any related info. At least they will see who I am searching for and know that you have already confirmed that there is no stone.

|Lova ||Charles Frederick Foreman Memorial # 150111439|
Mae, I know where my cousin,Fred was buried. His dad & my dad were half-brothers.
His urn was buried in Prospect Hill Cemetery, rural Blue Rapids, Marshall County, Kansas next to his parents Homer & Geraldine Foreman. His wife died in Feb 2016. Her urn will be buried next to Fred on May 1, 2016. I plan to attend the services.
You did a wonderful job on Fred's bio and know you will on his wife, Melba's as well.
Keep up the good work.
I remain, Lova Fincham Kraft in Abilene, Kansas

That was great what you did. I had actually sent you an edit to do that. You may have not seen it. If you look on your profile page under your name at the top, you will see edits. I don't have the dates for Lucretia Miser Brickell or where she is buried. My guess is she died between 31 Jan 1855 after her daughter was born and 8 Jul 1856 when George Brickell remarried to Sarah Jones. My guess was she was buried in the same cemetery where her parents and most siblings were buried. Her two small children lived with Lucretia's parents after she died. Thank you for your help.
|DSH||RE: Elise Scheele|
I probably wrote to you sooner than I should have.
I'll scan the Elise (Meyer) Scheele page from the Johann Meyer Family history book which explains the relationships and send it to you. Everything looks fine to me at this time on Find A Grave.
By the way, their home was only 1/8 of a mile west of the church.
Thanks for looking this over,

|Aunt Jan||Caroline Head Axe #95883337|
I see you've done some extensive research into Henry and Caroline Head Axe and was wondering if you were related. I descend from Caroline's brother, Jesse, and have a few old Xeroxed copies (barely legible) written by my 2x great grandmother. I also have digital copies of photos from Kansas that are unidentified. Are you in touch with someone who could help with the identifications? Feel free to email me at email@example.com. Thank you for your time and great efforts you're adding to this site.

|Kimberley Stewart (Rediker)||Homer Potts|
I am trying to find information as to Homer Potts. He is buried near my Great Grand Parents, John W. & Jennie L. Potts, with a similar marker/stone. My Grandfather, Harry G. Rediker had made the stones for John W & Jennie L. Potts, as well as William LeRoy Potts, which signals me to believe Homer is somehow related. I have called the curator of the cemetery, and he does not have any information on the Homer Potts grave. His death/burial was before the cemetery kept records. If you have any information regarding Homer Potts, please contact me.
Thank you for the edit! We just took a Munsterman relative of ours to the airport this morning, as it happens!
How do you know this was Elmer's birth place?
If it came from a family Bible, that is fine--if you have another source, and can send me a link, that is even better :)
I look forward to hearing from you!
