I live in Huntsville, Texas, with my husband, Eddie. I am working on the family tree, which for my husband includes Howell, Sigler, Dowies, Doiron, Lee, and Turnbull, mostly from Southwest Louisiana and East and Southeast Texas.|
Magnolia Cemetery, Beaumont, Texas
My primary FindaGrave focus is Magnolia Cemetery in Beaumont, where my husband has many family members buried. I have completely recorded sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 12, 13, 14, 18, 19, and W. I am currently working on section 15.
Errors, Additional Info & Transfers
Please let me know if you find typos, duplications, or errors in my submissions. I really want to know so that they can be corrected. If you want me to add information or links, I am delighted to do so. Same with the transfer of family members who are not members of my own family. But please use the EDIT tab found on the right of the memorial above the picture. This gives me the appropriate information to make changes.
Finally, anyone who wants to use my photos for a non-commercial purpose is welcome to do so.

Hi, I am looking for the grave of Edward Marcus Yard. He has family members buried in the Magnolia Cemetery. He may be buried there also. If you happen upon him while taking grave pictures would you please add him to findagrave. I found an obituary on him.....
Edward was born on December 18, 1892 and passed away in May 1983.
Edward was a resident of Deweyville, Tx.
Thanks for the transfer of Maude DAY Wilkins to me. I appreciate your kindness.

Thank your for the transfer and all your hard work.
|Carol Payne||Robert Dugat|
I have spoken to Patty Dugar, Vernon's daughter, and Judith, also Vernon's daughter's husband, and they both said that when Vernon was born, the hospital changed his name from Dugat to Dugar. It seems Vernon's father, Damar Lee Dugat, was an alcoholic and his mother, Thelma Elizabeth Abernathy, divorced him. Patty and I share an ancestor, Charles Washington Nelson, from Giles County, TN. One of Charles daughters, Susan Cornelia Nelson Abernathy, was my great grandfather's, Charles Henry Nelson, sisters.
I think Robert "Bobby" Dugat had muscular dystrophy and when he was 8 his mother sent him to Austin State School.
|Dr. Barbara Inman Beall||John Stillians-Magnolia Cemetery|
He was my great grand uncle. I know he was buried in Magnolia Cemetery because his death certificate states that is where he is buried. His wife Ada Stillians has a stone, but I don't know whether John has one. I think her Find-a-Grave memorial says that she is buried in Section 6. Presumably, John is buried beside her. He died July 14, 1929; she died in 1935. I created a Find-a-Grave Memorial for him and linked him to her memorial.
