Bio and Links
Bio Photo I've been interested in genealogy for a long time and thoroughly enjoy the time I spend in cemeteries, whether it's for my own benefit or someone else's.

If anyone wants to use headstone pictures that I post, feel free -- no royalties required. I'm also happy to take any other pictures of the area that you would like -- let me know what you want and I will do my best.

If you have any additional information that you would like added to memorials that I manage, let me know. I want each memorial to be as complete and accurate as possible. I'm also happy to transfer memorials to relatives/friends who want to manage them, so please don't create a duplicate. I believe that memorials are best taken care of by the people who loved them.

My ultimate goal is to photographically document all of the cemeteries in my area so that the existence of the people buried there is available to future generations and to ensure that people who can't visit on their own can still see a picture of the stone.

************************************

Note re Kirkland Cemetery: This is a heavily treed cemetery and many of the stones are covered in moss. If there is a particular stone that you would like re-photographed, feel free to let me know and I will see what I can do to clean up the stone.

*************************************

Cemetery Projects:
-- Cedar Lawns (done)
-- Kirkland Cemetery (Done. Many, many unmarked graves in this cemetery. Many stones very deteriorated.)
-- Redmond Community Cemetery (Done)
-- Sunset Hills (The outside is complete, with only the Sunset Mausoleum left to finish)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Although I have marked a cemetery as done, new graves may have been added and/or I may have missed a couple, despite my best efforts to be organized.
LOVE your response... great funny story and a good suggestion as well. I didn't think to ask that question! Thank you so much. I'll let you know when I find her. In the meantime I've changed her to "burial unknown" and removed the photo request. Thanks again so much! Best regards!
RE: Minnie Lee Melissa Foster Crozier
Hello again
Just got off the phone with Sunset and then with their affiliate in Redmond, Cedar Lawn. No record of her at all in either place. Then called two different family members who should know. One was certain that she is/was at Sunset... they went to the funeral there. The other did not know at all. Big new family mystery and the people who were directly involved are no longer available at ask so I'm baffled. It is clearly going to take some more research. I have found in life that I'm at my most dangerous when I think I'm certain about something...
Thank you so much for your efforts. I hope I haven't taken up too much of your time.
Very best regards.
Hello! Just called the Sunset office and they are going to research and call me back in about 10 minutes. I'm almost 100% certain that she is there. I'll respond with info instant I receive it. Thank you so much! KKC
RE: Donna Shevlin
Don't worry about muddling the waters. Any corrections you can give me are much appreciated.
She is still linked to Garth & Dorothy Hooper.
Thanks.
RE: Janet Cologna
Janet and her sister Donna were adopted by Edward and Florence Greiner making Ed Greiner their brother when he was born. Their natural mother Dorothy Hawkins Hooper died shortly after childbirth of Janet.
Dorothy was Florence's sister and the 3 other children of Dorothy and Garth Hooper were adopted and raised by their grandmother and her husband John Bradley. So, should these records reflect natural birth parents or adopted parents, or both?
If I could attach anything to this reply, I could attach the newspaper article of Dorothy's death.
