I l♥ve walking through cemeteries & taking photo's. I enjoy researching my family tree & helping others with theirs. |
If anyone would like family or close friends to be transferred over to you please let me know. I'd be more than happy to have someone I entered in to be maintained by loved ones. ☺
I occasionally research additional information for the memorials I've added to link them to their family and to help relatives who are searching for them. This may include obituaries, census, death, marriage & birth records as well as military records. If you'd like to double check any of my researched information below is a list of sources used. All resources free to the public.

|Bernece Alexander||Archie Nelson|
Archie Nelson was my relative and according to newspaper articles he was born Jan. 7,1890 and died April 13, 1907. He would have been 17 when he died. He had spinal meningitis. He was born in Spokane, WA. I wanted to find his grave at the Oakwood, Cemetery. Do you have a picture of it? You can reach me at firstname.lastname@example.org
I've always had an affinity for cemeteries myself.
Could you pls transfer Allmon Aaron Smith's memorial to me? He is my brother.

|Michael Hurley||Ft. Steilacoom|
Just starting, finally, to do some family research on my father's family--Hurley. According to state of Washington records, my great grandfather, Michael Hurley, emigrated from Ireland (likely 1879) and landed later in Skagit County (we don't know why). Archive records indicate he died of "paresis" at Ft. Steilacoom. We do not know where he is buried, but given the social stigma of paresis, I wonder if he was one of those buried in an unmarked grave there. How to find out? Also, would there still be any medical records of his time there--he died in 1896? Thanks, Mike Hurley

Oh, do I have a story to tell you about the elusive and yet, "I finally found the man who abandoned my grandfather!" I know who this man's really identity is! William Edward Myers, Sr! Scoundrel! lol
|Taweret||New Tacoma Cemetery|
I didn't make a note on when you took those photos at New Tacoma, could you please pass along when the shots were taken as it would be important not to take shots of already done internments. Also it was just the mausoleums plus a bit around them right?

|alexander ross||Cronkrite burials|
Herman Clayton Cronkrite's mother, Nancy Hughson died somewhere between 1881, Cardwell, Ontario and Tacoma (1900). I note from Find A Grave that Herman's father, James and his brothers Oliver and George are also buried in Tacoma. Is there any chance that a record can be found for Nancy Hughson / Cronkrite?
Nancy was an older sister to my great grandmother Eliza Hughson.

|Dianna ||Louis Holloway Winters burial site|
My name is Dianna Hale-Mattingly and just yesterday Patricia (Bittle) Milholland and I found the cemetery of Louis Holloway Winters. It is located in Miller County Missouri off of Hwy 17 on property belonging to Alan & Karen Schulte. However, Mrs. Kempker drove us to the cemetery site.
It is in major disrepair, the fence is mostly down. Trees and limbs are fallen and there is recent evidence of cattle roaming through the cemetery.
There is only one stone that is legible and that is the more recent replaced stone of Louis Holloway Winters although his old stone remains. All the other stones are down and broken and there were only three other's that had partial legible writing on them. There are several rocks which might indicate graves too.
Just thought I would let you know the actual location of this cemetery is in Miller County, Missouri
