Facility Events Manager & Volunteer Coordinater at Stuhr Museum in Grand Island, NE
My mother got me interested in Genealogy when I was 14 year old and we traveled to Illinois and Iowa looking for graves and records.
A co-worker got me started and excited about this website. My new 'fun' time. Thanks Kay I now have got my Husband, Scott, and Daughter, Andrea, in on the search for the past. I am a wife and mother of three great kids who are growing up way to fast.
Family names I am working on are Hunt, Martin, Burke, Marquis and Story.
parentage error for George Conkling My sincere apologies as in my haste I submitted the wrong parents for George Conkling 69135588. His parents are Allan Conkling 69135560 and Catherine Conkling, which I haven't located yet. William Henry Conkling 113798386 and Laura Baker Conkling are his sibling and William's wife.
RE: Find A Grave Changes No, it didn't bother me, but if you look at my profile page you will see how many don't know about it yet. I want to make sure that people I send edits to are aware of it. thanks!!!!
Green edits Thank you for processing all those Green edits in Polk county, NE. Hopefully it was ok to do them in one big batch and it is good to have them done. I found out my line that includes Thomas Green, his wife Christiana and son Eden are not related to any other Green's in this county. I was attempting to see if anyone was connected to a C.W. Green, born about 1853 in Ohio who was Thomas' nephew and who was said to have died in Polk county before 1910. I found supporting sources on FamilySearch.org to establish family relationships and figured as long as I had done that much to go ahead and request the links here. Thanks also for your contribution to F-a-G.
Phyllis A. Penton Renae, Thank you for posting the short bio about Phyllis. Her niece and mother, shown in the photo, are gone now too. Without many remaining family members who knew her, it just seemed appropriate that she not be forgotten. Thank you for what you do. - Jim
