I've been interested in genealogy for a long time and thoroughly enjoy the time I spend in cemeteries, whether it's for my own benefit or someone else's. |
If anyone wants to use headstone pictures that I post, feel free -- no royalties required. I'm also happy to take any other pictures of the area that you would like -- let me know what you want and I will do my best.
If you have any additional information that you would like added to memorials that I manage, let me know. I want each memorial to be as complete and accurate as possible. I'm also happy to transfer memorials to relatives/friends who want to manage them, so please don't create a duplicate. I believe that memorials are best taken care of by the people who loved them.
My ultimate goal is to photographically document all of the cemeteries in my area so that the existence of the people buried there is available to future generations and to ensure that people who can't visit on their own can still see a picture of the stone.
-- Cedar Lawns (all graves photographed and uploaded to FAG)
-- Kirkland Cemetery (in progress)
-- Redmond Community Cemetery (all graves photographed and uploaded to FAG)
-- Sunset Hills (The outside is complete, with only the Sunset Mausoleum left to finish)

Thanks for taking the time to research for me. I'll ask the family about what you were able to find out.
If Marie was born in 1916, then she was only 27 years old when Maryann was born in 1943. My information comes from Maryann's sister. I never got to meet Marie, but got to meet some of her sisters and her brother. I never knew Jack, so am guessing that he remarried after Marie died. Let me know if you have more questions.

Yes, my deceased husband and I have lived here for c. 50 years! I was in charge of counseling departments (in Kirkland and Redmond) during my career.

No, not my family. I finished my own research & 3 books so have been researching Wisconsin cemeteries for past 20 years. My ancestors came to So. Wis. in 1840's & I grew up in Wauwatosa but have lived in Bellevue, WA for a long time and am a retired educator.I will continue to work with you on this cemetery & any others you name. Am always glad to have a partner in the research.

Thanks even though there is no stone. At least I know where he is at.

I can appreciate your struggle. It is just that I think that the Funeral Program must be accurate, at least one hopes so. It is hard to know for sure though, I do understand.

I am a Washington DC "Washingtonian"! I have friends in the state of WA and it's a beautiful state, but I live on the east coast.
