Historian for the Masonic Grand Lodge of ND|
I am willing to fulfill photo
requests for family members and historians within my geographical area(north central North Dakota)
Control of any non-historic "special project" site that I install will be willingly turned over to any family member, close friend or historian upon request to me via email. Genealogy and history are better served by those who can 'personally' edit a FAG site with first hand information they know to be correct and complete.
Under normal conditions I try to install
two photos to provide a better view of the headstone and grave site area.
Thank you to all the individuals and
families that have put your trust in my
ability to provide a proper photo for
Also, a HUGE thank you to all the FAG volunteers who have 'found' our old soldiers and civilians that were members of historic Yellowstone Lodge No. 88, at Ft. Buford. Your efforts to locate,photograph, or transfer these grave sites for historical preservation at our future Interpretive Center is impressive and an unselfish act of a true partnership in history.
This is the true purpose of Find A Grave, and we are honored to have you with us in this quest. Your efforts will be permanently noted on our FB pages, websites and at the Center when it is dedicated in May of 2014.
I am also interested in hearing from any relatives of those who were buried at Ft. Buford Cemetery, Williams County, ND, Or those who might have family that was associated at Ft. Buford during the late 1800's. (Particularly 1870-1875)
and the members of the Buffalo Soldier units and Eureka Prince Hall Lodge No. 135, chartered through the Prince Hall Grand Lodge of Missouri at Ft. Apache, AZ Territory in 1891, and then brought to Ft. Buford a year later.

|Marlys U||Sarah McDonald Grainger|
Hello, I am researching Sarah McDonald Grainger. DOB 6/1/1847 and DOD 1/23/1896. She is buried in the Nordland Cemetery out of Bottineau. On the Find A Grave website there is a photo of the cemetery name but I am asking if you could also if possible, add a photo of Sarah's headstone. I would appreciate that. Thank you. M Urdahl

Thank you so much for your time and effort in taking this photo for me and family to see. I've had this request in for a considerable amount of time but seeing the photo has made the wait worthwhile. Christina is my great grandmother!
