I am a mother of 1 teenager and 3 doggies. I have been doing genealogy for over 25 years and stumbled across this site which is fantastic.|
If I can be of any help please let me know.
I am going to start inserting some of the grave sites here in Eastern NC. If I put some of your family up here and you would like a transfer please by all means let me know and I will be glad to transfer them over.
I am looking to have any
Judkins/Swanner/Giardina/Holt/Baril pages transferred to me if you all don't mind. Most of them I can update and it gives me something to do. I am also working on my husbands line of Gerard and Swinson, so if you have those and don't mind throwing my way or letting me know so I can see if I can add information to what you have then that'd be great. So thank you to all who transfer over and if I can help you let me know.
I am more than happy to get out hunting for headstones and cemeteries, there are tons around my area and I cover more than 8 counties with pleasure.

|Kathryn Powell Wrenn||name change|
Thanks so much. The name has been changed--for me and future generations!
|Kathryn Powell Wrenn||Washington St.|
That sounds like the route to take. I really appreciate all your effort and your genuine interest in making Find A Grave so meaningful.
|Kathryn Powell Wrenn||Washington Street|
That makes sense. Do you think the name could be changed to reflect the family? Robert Worrell is the patriarch buried there with his wife, Rachel Sasser, son John and wife, Anne, her parents, and John and Anne's four daughters, their husbands, and several of their children. Thoughts? Thanks.
|Kathryn Powell Wrenn||Washington Street Cemetery|
Do you by any chance know why this cemetery has the name "Washington Street Cemetery" rather than a family name? I visited this cemetery today to verify for myself the exact location. I had always been told that this was the Worrell Family Cemetery. All interments are Worrells and/or spouses or descendants except for the two Pates, who are Worrell in-laws. Any information or clarification is appreciated. Thanks.

Thanks for all your assistance.

Thanks for making this transfer!
|Suzannah McCuen||RE: Markers at Cherry|
What list are you going by?
|Suzannah McCuen||Markers at Cherry|
How far apart were the markers at the hospital cemetery? Did you find many gaps between them? I would expect them to be about 4 feet apart. Thanks for photographing some of them.
|Linda Smith||Jesse Smith Cemetery|
Thank you! Thank you! My name is Linda Smith. We learned of this cemetery's existence about 10 years ago. We clawed our way through the brush to photograph graves.
We have a large portrait of Emma Lisa Smith hanging in our house. She is my husband's great grandmother.
I have only recently become acquainted with Find a Grave. I never thought anyone would brave that overgrown mess! You are a saint!
|Harriet Burns||RE: Jane Lewis|
Ya know...I THINK she is my great great grandmother...the name,years, and place are correct...but the death cert I found on her stated her race as black. Not that that matters....but my grandfathers says he was black and if there ever was a WHITE BOY he was it...red hair..blue eyes...white skin and freckles...lol. so it doesn't matter what a cert says....it could very well be wrong. Glad you enjoyed the lady bugs..I love em. :)
