Genealogy is a passion of mine from when I was very young. My grandmother told me wonderful stories about our families and I have been doing family history for over 30 years. I have traveled all over the world photographing family graves and writing books on my different families. I need another 25 years to finish everything I have started!|
PLEASE do not add birth or death certificates to my memorials!

|rstk||Rhoda Webb b. 1812|
It is clear that you have done an enormous amount of work. Thank you so much.
The close association of the tombstones indicates that she was a Webb family member, but exactly how is still an open question. After 10 years of research, DNA may be the only solution, testing Webb descendents from her oldest and youngest male children. And further research into who her parents might have been, leaves me to believe it is probable she was closely related to Larkin Webb, but not absolutely true.
My point is that we cannot with certainty say who was father of her children, much less attribute them to James Roche Webb, b. 1815. It's probable he was her brother.

Its my pleasure Karen! It makes it so much easier for her descendants to find her, should they be researching their family tree!

I took a little edit link break over the holidays. I know I could send you so many links including some of the smaller church ones you've done. I get to it as I can. I don't live in Raleigh,so I can only post from what I can document from death records.I'm sending "Sibe80" a lot of edits right now. He seems to be posting again at Montlawn after a little break. I come thru Raleigh on the way to the shore in summer. I met a lady 2 summers ago at Oakwood. I had done some of her relative's memorials at Oakwood and her husband was buried near my parents. It turned out she had gone to school with one of my cousins. I'm sure more edits will still come your way.

Golly I'm starting to think the Major Cem (aka Corbin-Major cem) is one and the same with The Major Quarter cemetery. 4 of the 5 people you have in TMQ cem I have in the Major Cem. The descriptions of location sound exactly the same. (Only the counties differ, and I know the Major Cem is very close to the county line.) Details on Tuesday.

Sorry please delete last msg. Am really super impressed with your work! What a mountain of work!so I really hate to say we a minor conflict on 4 graves--- I've got people in the Majors Cem near Viewtown in Rappahannock Co Va (historically it was the 'Corbin-Major' cem., but Find A Grave says 'Major') that you have in Majors Quarter nearby, across the county line. I also have 4 siblings of Columbiana Nalle buried there. I was there 7 years ago and saw the gravestones but the photos I took were awful. going to go up there when the weather warms up to retake them. 2 hour drive from my home. Very sorry to contact you this way but am having trouble with my home e-mail, will send details from work on Tuesday, Best wishes, Pete S.

I see her Death Record says Singleterry Cem although no location is stated.
Do you think it would be the Singleterry in GA where William A Broome is buried? He is shown there buried with 1st wife Martha. And Josephine could be there.
What are your thoughts on this?
See William A Broome at Singleterry Cem in GA at 35001941
