I have been doing family history research for over 30 years. I just recently started taking photographs of headstones in Mt. Hope Cemetery in Baker City, Oregon for a community project. There are over 17,000 people buried there, but if you want a picture from this cemetery, I will do my best to get it for you. I like being precise, so if you have a date that differs from the picture I take of the headstone, please let me know and if I have created the memorial, I will gladly change that information on the memorial. I will gladly do research to find out more information for you from the Baker County records in our library and other sources. Anyone wanting to use my pictures of headstones that I post along with the memorials has my permission to do so. And also, I will be glad to transfer any memorials that I have created to you if you are a relative. My objective is to just get the information out there for people searching for their ancestors.

Thank you so much for the photo of her marker. I am a member of her adoptive family and we think of her as an integral part of our family. She was treasured by two families after all, and what could be better than that?! Thanks again.

Thank you so much for getting this gravestone photo -- despite winter weather in Baker! His parents and I very much appreciate your efforts.
