As far as I know, no. But we have been unable to locate any information on parents or siblings of our GG Grandfather.

That's not necessary but thank you!

Merry Christmas to you, too!
I clicked on the memorials you've added but didn't get past the first page before I found a another link to my info. I'm not descended from the Adamson families in Henry & Clayton Counties GA but I have a HUGE tangle of relatives with them so I trace them. I may eventually find a direct connection with one of my females with an unknown last name. I see that you added 3 memorials. Are you related to them? My grandmother Sizemores parents (Burks & Stephens) were both from Clayton Co. They moved to the Gold Ridge community of Cullman Co in the early 1900's. You can't throw a stick in Clayton Co and not hit one of my relatives. And most likely I'd be related to them 3 or 4 different ways. :)

I think I followed that... you're blood related to Bennie Bates but not Belva. Bennie was your grandmother's brother, right?
I've looked through my files and can't place her but I'm going to keep looking. Surely she is in the family of Rev James McGlathery. His memorial is # 31841999. He was a younger brother to my ancestor, Darling H McGlathery.
I was born in Cullman but my parents moved away when I was 2. I went back frequently until about 10 years ago when my last grandparent died. My maternal grandparents, Rev & Mrs Virgil Sizemore lived south of Eva in Fairview. The photo of me showing off my new hairdo was made in my grandparents yard in Fairview not long before we moved. One of my grandfather's Sizemore uncles lived that direction for a while in the early 1900's. And I think some of my McGlathery relatives lived near there.
No, I don't know her but am no doubt related. The McBrayer's were/are a big family in that area. My ancestor was Susannah McBrayer who married William Carole Waldrop. They left GA not long after the turn of the last century and went to Cullman Co AL. Their son, my great-grandfather, William Everett Waldrop, lived all his life in the Simcoe community.
As I trace all the lines, I'm finding more that went to Cullman like the link I requested of you. My great-grandfather was only 5 years younger than the father of James but I don't really think they knew each other. They would have been 2nd cousins. I asked Papa lots of questions about family. He never told me about his mother's relatives moving to Cullman.
Thanks for making that link!
