I corrected the date of birth. Many thanks for notifying me of my mistake. And, let me know if you want me to transfer this memorial to you. I'm not related; I just posted the picture.

Your welcome, and yes, pretty soon when Fall or Winter comes, the high grass, weeds, and the vines will turn brown and die too. It'll be easier to find his grave in the Fall or Winter time.

I have added her maiden name ... I am sorry it took me so long, we have been out of state and the computer I was accessing email from wouldn't let me do it.
Are you related, or a good friend, and would like her memorial page under your care? I am always hoping someone will come forward with an addition/correction who is so I can get memorials to those who know them. Let me know!

We went to take a picture of him weeks ago and couldn't find him. This time we called ahead and had them show us where he was buried. We put some flowers in the picture so you would know exactly where he is buried.
Have a great day.

We have shared family tree info long ago. I am the great granddaughter of Hollie Frank Easley (who is the grandson of John Summerfield Easley). I have a picture from a Kemp family Bible showing that "Molcy Elizabeth Kemp married John Summerfield Easley on Dec 26 1879". Email me at email@example.com and I will send you a copy if you are interested. This is where I originally got the "Summerfield" information.

There are also two of my Dickens memorials in the Magnolia Cemetery, Woodville, Tyler County, TX.
If you would like these also, just let me know. They are most probably related to your other Dickens.

Link made. PS, your bio was like reading my own thoughts. I've driven to and sat in so many court houses it's not even funny. Ever notice how the hand writing was great right up to the records that were recorded in the 70's and after? The memorial you asked me to link to was discovered mowing the rows. Keep up the good fight.

I just read your profile and loved what you had to say about doing solid genealogical research. It is unfortunate that so many people post information based on wild guesses, and that the unsourced information then is reproduced ad nauseum on Ancestry, FindAGrave, and similar sites until such time that some people assign validity to the data simply because of the number of times and places they have read it. Bottom line: Although many more people seem to be interested today in family history than when I began my quest, a large number of them have never learned that they should document only what can be properly sourced, and that they should use lesser unsourced information only as possible avenues of research. I salute you.
