Bio and Links
Bio Photo I've always had interest in old cemeteries. As a young girl I had recorded all the names in a local cemetery into a notebook. I assumed it was thrown away, when I moved from home. Since then, my military & family life had taken up most of my time. Now that I'm retired, genealogy research led me to FAG and now another interest had taken over my life, just kidding. I belong to a local historical association and one of our duties were to record all the names in our parish's cemeteries. I have so many interests/hobbies there's not enough time in the day it seems like.

James J Beggs Sr killed in Italy
Thank you Judie. What I will do is download the military record for Mr Beggs onto his entry page. I am aware that it is mostly volunteers that enter the listings and they have no personal knowledge of the individual or their family. In this case Pvt Beggs WWII was killed in action in Viareggio, Italy, and he is buried in the military cemetery in Florence, Italy. Mr Beggs left behind two sons, one born three months after his death and the other age four. Mr Beggs would be very proud of the family that he left behind.

Do you have more information on the Beggs family? Mr Beggs was killed outside of Florence, Italy, in WWII. He is the grandfather of my children. TY

I'm curious where you found her picture. She's my 2nd great grandmother and this is the first I've seen- really appreciate you adding it!

Can I use your photo on my family tree? I will, of course, give you full credit. Thanks!

St. Michaels Cemetery Remus Mi.
How thoughtful to leave flowers! Mary was 1 of 7 children who died from smallpox in 1865. Two
of the children were even buried in one grave.
They were the children of Stephen & Veronika (Ramerer) Mayer. I tried to edit the site BUT couldn't figure it out.

Judie are you related to Margaret? I have a book on the Kingery family and between it and what I have found on I have some questions. If you are related would like to touch bases with you.
