I am a 49-year old mother of 2, born in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. I have lived in Charlotte, NC for 20 years. I found Find a Grave when I started researching my family tree. I feel that it is so important to keep as much of our history and heritage intact as possible, so I am trying to do my part by photographing cemetery markers and creating memorials as I have time. It's not a speedy process, but I really do enjoy it, and I hope I am helping someone to "connect" or become inspired to do the same. Feel free to use any or all of my photos anywhere, anytime, and without credits. Enjoy! |

Thank you for taking the photographs of the tombstones for James C. Coleman and his wife, Lillian Hearst Coleman; who are buried at Cedar Springs A.R.P. Churchyard Cemetery in Abbeville County, South Carolina.
And other photos of tombstones at Cedar Springs, that I have not discovered yet.
Elizabeth, it is thanks to individuals like you; who volunteer their time to bring ancestors closer together, even if it is only through a photograph of their final resting place. This will help future generations in our family to know a little more about their ancestor. ~ with appreciation, George Gaston

Thanks for your time!
First, I want to thank you for taking pictures at Tranquil.
The memorials I entered were from a book at the local genealogical library. I have recently moved and will need to look for the list but I tried to be as accurate as possible.
Several of my ancestors are buried there and I found many discrepancies with their dates.
If I run across the listing, I will certainly double check is for Jenny.
Hope this helps some.
