|I live in Maine, but all of my family was born in PA. My father's family of German origin settled the Conowago area of PA near Hanover, arriving in the early 1700s. My mother's family, mostly German with some Irish too, arrived a little later in the Philadelphia area.|
I really enjoy connecting with distant family and others who are interested because of geographical location. I'm hoping to share and learn about all the information I can.
I love genealogy, primary source material and grave yards, in particular.
When I retire in five years, I want to spend my time wandering around Maine, checking out the cemeteries.

Hi Kit. You're right, there isn't a year of death on the stone. If you can tell by the second picture on her memorial page, there is nobody on HER left, but on her right is Hannah N Morgan 1883~1954 and next to Hannah (with the flag) is John Erwin Norton C.B.M. Co. U.S.N.R. (not sure what it all stands for) 1888~1926. This cemetery, and all of the cemeteries in my area are LOADED with Nortons. Hope this helps! Rich.

Thank you so very much for catching this photo.. You didn't by chance see a George Moffett, Eunice's dad, near by?
Friend, Alison & I are working Prospect Hill Cem in Uxbridge MA and trying to do as many links outside for future generations of genealogy chasers...
Regards and Thanks again, Carol

Thank you so much for taking this photo for me. It is much appreciated.
Thank you for your attempt to find George's burial site. There is a burial card that indicates he is buried there, but he must have an unmarked grave. I am sorry I did not know that before I requested the photo - thank you so much for your efforts.
Thanks for trying to find his headstone for me.

I've transferred as per your request plus her husband. Do you want the other Noss folks buried there? I am not related to them.
|Wendy Houck||RE: Noss|
You're welcome Kit. I'm sorry I couldn't find Charles Hershman. There is no record of him in the burial records either. Wendy
