Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been working on my genealogy for several years. I have always lived in Morgan County, Ohio. Some of my family ties include Mendenhall, Graham, Morris, Scott, Kinsey, Carr, and McElhose.
All mostly from Ohio and Pennsylvania. Find A Grave helped me get started working on my family tree; therefore, it inspired me to take photos of memorials to help others. Please feel free to use any photo I have added; and I will transfer memorials upon request.

RE: Mendenhall - Embree family
Thank for the offer. However they are further out of my family circle. Take care.

Mendenhall - Embree family
Apparently we share common relatives.

I am related to Charles Albert Mendenhall's wife Mary Geneva Embree (2nd cousin 3X removed)

By chance do you have any family photos you may be able to share of Charles and Mary?

Mary's Embree line goes back to Robert Embree and Mary Bassett of 17th century Stamford, Connecticut.

Joel Gilbert Gravesite
I wanted to thank you so much for posting the pictures of Joel Gilbert's gravesite. Several years ago, my wife and I had attempted to find it in Pennsville but were unsuccessful. Joel was my g-g-grandfather. I hope to get there one day again.
Again, my heartfelt thanks,
Frank Gilbert

Are you interested in my emailing you Bessie's obituary? It was on the same sheet of obituaries as one I was looking for in Caldwell's public library. I could either email it or send it as an 'edit'.

Pisgah cemetery, Morgan Co. OH
Could you please tell me where Pisgah cemetery is located? When I attempt internet mapping searches, I get several possibilities, but I would like to know where I'm going before actually heading out. The most likely candidate is "Pisgah Methodist", although I'm not completely comfortable with that since the ancestors buried there were staunch Presbyterians. You can contact me via email at if you are willing and able to help. Thanks so much!
