Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am researching the Cotterman's, Severing's, Self's, Whitmer's, Overmyer's, Wyrick's and Larimer's. Most of my family came from Germany to PA in the 1700's then settled in Perry Co, Ohio.
I am glad that there are sites such as find-a-grave because I have been in a lot of cemeteries that are not going to be there soon and need to be photographed while they can to have a record of them.
If you want to use my pictures I have taken, please feel free to do so. I don't need any recognition. I do this to help other people.

RE: Thomas E, Skinner
Penny shot down my theory about Thomas E. Skinner having actually been young Thomas K. Skinner by finding a headstone for young Thomas K. Skinner with his parents in the old Baptist cemetery. I still don't know who Thomas E. Skinner would have been. Do you recall who was buried near him? Sharon

RE: Minnie Seens
Minnie Campbell Seens' gravestone in Pisgah Cemetery also references her two infant children who passed away, Nellie and James William. Hope this helps. Mike Ring

RE: Thomas E, Skinner
As I was just telling Penny Taylor, I'm seeing that this cemetery appears to be duplicated three times on Findagrave: Methodist Churchyard, First Methodist Church Cemetery, and the New Lexington United Methodist Cemetery. If you do a search for Jefferson Skinner d. 1863, he's duplicated in all three listings. Sharon

RE: Thomas E, Skinner
That's very interesting. I was hoping that he might be Thomas the son of Richard Skinner. Thomas died around that time with his brother Aaron Skinner being executor of his estate and his widow Elizabeth then taking the children to Iowa. I'll look in my Skinner material to see if I can learn more about a Thomas who was a son of James Skinner. Sharon

RE: Thomas E, Skinner
You think the death year was 1849 instead of 1810 or 1812? That might make him Thomas, an older brother of my GG grandfather Zebal "Eli" Skinner. I should look into that. Sharon

Thank you for the photo of the very weathered headstone. That's definitely Feb. instead of March. Sharon
