Bio and Links
Bio Photo Married father of four, retired after 32 1/2 years with the Federal Government. (8 1/2 years US Navy, Submarine Service and 24 years civil service) Living in Waterloo Nebraska.

Feel free to use any tombstone photo I take. If I fulfilled a request for a photo, then I consider it the property of the person who requested it.

To request transfer of a memorial please use the edit function and be sure to list your number to insure it gets to the right person. My primary interest is in photography and many of the memorials I manage were created from photos of tombstones I've taken. As a result, I'm not at all adverse to transferring memorials of non-family members to members of their families, even outside the requirements of find a grave's family first policy. If I get multiple requests or if it is memorial that is a member of my family it will be handled strictly based on who's more closely related.

Genealogical research:

My family: Harris, Dodson, Van Patten/Vanpatten, Van Devender, Oryall/Ariail, Denny/Denney, Collingsworth, Porter, Tatro/Tetreault

My wife's family: Leeds, Hiland, Arrasmith, Stanford, Wesphal, Jones, Worden, Wilson, Laabs

RE: Lewis Tatro
Hi Glen,
Also see the Find A Grave memorial # 69647489.
This is the same individual but names Louis C Tatro. But it is definitively the same person.

RE: Lewis Tatro
Hi Glen,
Yes, I see now. I got the death date from Gene Tatro and the obituary advice.
His brother, Alfred Oranzo, is the one who died in 1928.
Obituary of Lewis Tatro 1850-1913:
«The remains of L. C. Tatro arrived in town Thursday morning accompanied by his brother, A. O. Tatro, of Lebanon, Ky. The funeral service was held at the house at 10 o'clock, the Rev. F. F. Lewis officiating. The pallbearers were P. L. Patterson, C. W. Arnquist, F. S. Bent, E. A. Glover, C. E. Thomas, and E. N. Dawley. New Richmond News & Republican Voice; March 22, 1913»

RE: Lewis Tatro
Hi Glen,
Would you please remind me which Lewis Tatro you are referring to?
I did not keep trace of the message I sent you. Therefore, I don't remember.
I have about 80 Lewis Tatro in my database.
Please tell me the maiden name of his wife or of his mother, so I can situate the right Lewis.
Thank you.

RE: Lundies 79595358
I know how hard some of these are to call, and some cemeteries are infinitely more difficult than others. You hate to put up a stone without a last name, and usually, we're right, but there's always that one that doesn't get discovered until someone years down the road starts liking and says hey what?

Don and I were working the same cemetery, and he had some stones with a family stone. I had the same stones with a different family stone. We had to go back and look at the cemetery together to figure it out! At least we think we figured it out... ;)

:)

Thanks, Glenn!

Lundies 79595358
Hi, Glenn. A few years ago, you put photos on the above referenced memorial and that of his wife - the Lundies.

For some reason, you put a family stone for the name of Horstman on both their memorials. Neither of them have the Horstman name. She is a Hoermann of Germantown.

Could you please fix these two files by removing the large stone? The small one is fine, but the large one confused the heck out of me. :)

Stay dry!
