I take a lot of photos of the headstones at Fort Bliss National Cemetery. Many are dim and are hard to read the inscription. If anyone asks me, I can retake any photo under different lighting conditions and try to make it easier to read.

A few years ago, I transcribed a lot of the Internments at Restlawn Memorial Park:

I recorded over 25,000 burials.
The office claimed years ago that there were over
33,000 Internments there.
When I first started the project, I was allowed full access to the office on Saturday mornings. The manager let me use the Sexton records, plat maps, etc.
When the cemetery was sold, the new manager informed me that I was no longer welcome in the office. I had to do the rest by reading each tombstone.
Since I have 23 relatives Interred at Restlawn, I feel that I should have been allowed to finish the project.
Restlawn will NOT give out a grave location unless the requestor is a direct relative.
For that reason, I will limit my volunteer duties to Fort Bliss National Cemetery.
At Ft. Bliss National Cemetery, a grave location will be appreciated, but not necessary.

William Gordon's Headstone
Hi, again. It appears you will have to remove the additional pics. I'd like to keep the one that appears to be taken under the darker skies. Thanks!

RE: William Gordonís headstone
Charles, Thanks so much for getting a picture of my Uncle Bill's gravestone. I think I liked the one that seemed to appear under the more overcast skies, rather than the ones in bright sunshine. I'll remove the others. Thanks for your time and effort!

Thanks for the recent changes to her memorial. It's unfortunate that Restlawn has changed their policy. They're putting up a roadblock on valuable contributions from people doing this on their own time.

RE: David Boggs
Hi, Charles. I resubmitted the edits to you for David Boggs. They were still listed on my contributor page list of pending edits so I deleted them and tried again. You should be getting them. I had this problem with edits for another memorial a couple of weeks ago, as well. My apologies, and thanks.

Thank you so much for fulfilling my two photo requests for Willaim & his sister Mary. They are my husband's uncle & aunt. I just listed these requests on Sunday & here they are already! I have a dozen or so requests (in other states) that I have been hoping for close to a year.

Thank you so much!

David Boggs
Hi, Charles. I sent some edits to you via the edit button for David Boggs in Restlawn Memorial Park, as to dates, places and parents. He was a cousin.
