I began genealogy research in 1986. It's been a fun, exciting, stimulating, challenging experience with many strange and wonderful adventures, along with numerous twists and turns. I have met many wonderful people in the search for my ancestors. I have family who came West to Oregon Country on the Oregon Trail in 1843, 1852, and 1853. Some later migrated West by train. Some of the family lines I'm researching are: Bloyd, Brooks, Byron, Cox, Cullen, Darneille, DeCosta, Dixon, Graham, Gray, Hedick, Hempstead, Hilts, Janes, Johns, Larimore, McGee, Mee, Pleasants, Poteet, Rynbergen, Smith, Stafford, Willis & Young.|
NOTE: If you contact me by personal message on this page about any of my memorials, pls mention the person's name, memorial number, and cemetery. Otherwise, don't be surprised if I don't respond. Likewise, if you contact me via email (preferred), pls give me the same data. In all cases, editing suggestions should be transmitted via Findagrave's usual procedure. Thank you.

|Charles Templer||May Oldham Cox|
Just a quick thank you for your work in Findagrave.
I have located a death certificate, MO death certificate, 42414, for Armilda M. Cox. She was the daughter of Robert Oldham and Sophronia Gragg. First husband was Lafayette Thomas who died in 1912 and is buried in Faubion. Married Thomas Jefferson Cox after that date.
Armilda was born 25 Oct 1863 and died 30 Dec 1948, both in Clay County, MO, per her death certificate which you can find on the Missouri SOS web site.
|Patricia O||Jack Shelton Warren, Memorial #140502086|
The other half of the marker is for Mr. Warren's wife, Judy Etheridge, who is still alive. I don't add markers for living people but I'll be glad to send you a couple of photos that show the whole marker and you can do with them as you like. When I fulfill a request, I always check for a deceased spouse. If there is one, I'll make a picture of the double marker and add it to both memorials. If there's not a memorial for that spouse, I'll make one - it only takes a few minutes. My email is email@example.com; send me an email and I'll return it with the photos this afternoon.
I see how that happened. I had a DOB of 1899, that's why it didn't come up when I did a search. I have deleted the dupe.

I found her grave in Civil Bend, still somewhat fresh. Her Maiden name of Laurence is found throughout the cemetery so maybe her plot is part of a family section. I have posted a photo of her marker.

|Old Joseph||Martha Jane (Corum) Wright (#134578900)|
Please know that the Bethany Cemetery office's records show that Martha Jane Wright is buried next to her husband, Jack Wright, in Range D, Lot 20, (graves 2 & 3) of the adjoining South Jefferson Cemetery. They are not buried in the Bethany Cemetery.
Thanks for your input!

You are very welcome. I guess I enjoy the detective type work involved.
Have a Merry Christmas!
