Bio and Links
Bio Photo Genealogy has become my newest addiction!

Taphophilia = an abnormal love for graves and cemeteries. The love of walking cemeteries and finding lost relatives and the gravesites of ancestors.

We are the chosen. In each family, there is one who seems called to find the ancestors.
To put flesh on their bones and make them live again, to tell the family story and to feel that somehow they know and approve.
Doing genealogy is not a cold gathering of facts, but instead, breathing life into all who have gone before.
We are the story tellers of the tribe.

All that we can know about those we have loved and lost is that they would wish us to remember them with a more intensified realization of their reality. What is essential does not die but clarifies. The highest tribute to the dead is not grief, but gratitude.

RE: McNally photo
You're welcome. I love the concept behind this website. Having a digital record of the neglected and forgotten cemeteries to preserve them for future generations of genealogists is a wonderful thing. Some of the members of this site are however very different from ones I have worked with on other sites.

I will try to take good care of it. Austin Park my gg grandfather moved to Sullivan Co., Mo. and raised family here. He was in Civil war & his daughter was my grandfather, Guy Myers mother.
I have Thomas & Catherine Beebe in my family tree program but not their children. Would like your line from them sometime if possible but send to my e-mail please.
Thanks again

RE: transfer
I am related through Ruel Park as one of his sons was Austin Park my gg grandfather. You may want to keep memorial for yourself as you are related closer than I am. Didn't know if you were related.

RE: Toothman Photos (4)
I think that 2 Toothman cemeteries have been combined on the site, there are pictures posted by another person that are not of the cemetery indicated on the map. I sent them a message asking for directions to the cemetery they have pictures of.

Daniel Ripley
Mount Carmel, Parkersburg
We've never met, but a number of my ancestors and relatives are at rest in Mount Carmel Cemetery in Parkersburg, and I thank you for the care you take in adding these records to the database.
