Bio and Links
Bio Photo The photos I have posted belong to me and my family, therefore I hold the COPYRIGHT to them. If you ASK, I will allow them to be used for your private family trees. I do not want them posted elsewhere online by anyone, which implies you own them (per copyright laws)and that includes ANCESTRY.COM.

Find a grave says: "The copyright of all photos posted to Find A Grave remains with the original submitter. No use of photos for any other website or personal use is permitted without the prior consent of the original submitter."

ANCESTRY RULES read, in part:
"...Be aware that content, including photographs, even if submitted to a site of which you are a member, belongs to the creator or submitter and you should not reproduce it without permission of the owner..."

"You must not use's products and services to:
...Post, transmit, or display content which is protected by copyright or trademark or that does not belong to you and that you do not have authorization for use from the owner of the copyright or trademark, including but not limited to email messages and notes in GEDCOMs. Read our copyright policy if you have questions...."

If there is a photo on a memorial I entered, that belongs to another person, please ask for their permission before using it also. Thank you for your understanding on this matter.

PLEASE USE THE "Edit" tab to communicate about a specific memorial, PLEASE. If you don't know how to do this just ask. Because I get so many requests a week I need to update memorials quickly and the "Edit" tab allows this.

PLEASE send me any additional info, updates and corrections (please provide documentation)on any memorial I have entered,*by using the "Edit" tab*. Happy to transfer a family member in your direct line, as far as four generations out....IF that person is not in my direct line.

If you ask for a transfer, correction or additional info to be posted on a memorial by using a message on this home may or may not get done. By using the "Edit" tab it'll be done quickly.

***NOTE** I do not link to memorials with "Unknown" burial location. This is FIND a grave so if you can't FIND it, I can't link to it. The rules state that the burial location must be added in 30 days, then I'll be happy to link to it. This is not a free family tree site.

Thanks to all who have sent me info AND especially those who have taken photos and posted them.

RE: John Toms 111850119
Sylvia, Sorry to say, I don't know much about this couple at all. I am guessing that this information came from another Toms family tree on Ancestry. Normally I don't even bother with relatives this far off the actual line, but I probably went ahead and added the information after seeing it online. If I find any additional information I will let you know. Good luck on your research. I don't know if you have pursued further research on Ancestry, but that might be good and may give you another person to contact. Don

Has anyone trekked this Graveyard lately?? I'm Searching for Grandson of Kit Woodall and Lydia, Luther Willis Woodall, his Mother Elisabeth Wilkins-Woodall and her parents Willis J. Wilkins and Judith Wilkins. Do you know if this cemetery is large enough for those interments as well as those listed. The County Archives don't have anything on those names and they Resided in District 1.

Thank You!

My great great grandparents are Pleasant Green Meador and Nancy Jane Belt Meador. I'm wondering what information you may have about Nancy Jane's parents. Thomas was her younger brother. Thank you.

Is "Arches" same as R. Dock Empson?
Here is part of letter from my great-aunt Martha Freeman Long to my grandmother, Roena Freeman Hill, dated 6 December 1908:
"We visited Cousin Sarah Empson. They have no home of their own, just rent and move. Have 2 boys and 4 girls. Maud the oldest is a widow with one little girl and is at home with her parents. ____(?) 2 lives close to them. She married a Mr. Morgan and has 3 small children. Albirtie is 17 and as sweet a girl as you ever looked at. Dudley is just grown and working at Springfield. We only just got acquainted with him. Arches is a dear good boy and ... Mable is their baby about 11 years old." (Written by pencil on tablet paper hard to read after more than a hundred years!)

RE: Mangrem
Do you have a free account on I'm reading papers from Wm D's probate loose records. Everyone he owed $ to took Ruth and her orphans (the heirs) to court to recover their $. There were several, maybe a dozen or so. Still no word on the murder or the killing.
