I have only been doing genealogy for a couple of years and since I love history and puzzles, I am enjoying the search. I am researching the Schnatter (Snawder), Pharris, Blake and Truax families.
The search ranges from Kentucky to Tennessee to Indiana....

Thanks,
DJ

Thank you for taking the time to provide the photo of my Gr-grand uncle and aunt's headstone at Grove Hill. It is much appreciated. If you are there frequently, Lester's father and mother, John Ben Catlett and Mabel "Mamie" Searcy Catlett are also at Grove Hill (I have photo requests out for them as well). Thank you again for your time and for what you do. Blessings!

RE: Margaret Hanna
Thank you so much for trying. From Ancestry, I find that William Chenoweth Hanna, 1801-1893, Thomas Hanna 1766-1822, my 2nd great grand uncle, and his wife, Margaret "Peggy" Smith Hanna 1776-1813, were buried in Bird-Hanna-Stephens Cemetery. and possible more of the family are buried there. The picture of the cemetery shows headstones leaning and probably some are lost. It looks like a stone is down beside the big Hanna base. Anyway thanks for checking on the cemetery, it is always sad to see a cemetery in the shape this is in. I appreciate your effort so very much. Janice Hanna Sparks

The lot is supposed to have some headstones per the Grove Hill Website but not all. Thanks for looking.
