I am addicted to geneology and ancestry.com & findagraves has become my favorite past time. I currently live in Central Florida, but my family research centers around Lebanon, Russell Va & surrounding counties. I have been working on my family tree since 2006. I love searching out old family graveyards that are most likely not cataloged or posted on findagraves. I find myself traveling down a back road, spot an old gravesite & I'm hooked. I have no clue to those resting there, but somewhere there is someone who connects to them. This is where I take this info and search ancestry to see if I can find a family tree I can donate my info. I am happy to transfer any memorials to family, please don't hesitate to ask. You have my permission to use any photos I post to this site.|

Thanks for the edits. Flora's death cert. says Mrs. Flora Childress Gibson. Her fathers surname Childress. In my research of Childress/Childers it's not uncommon to see the two used in the same family.

Made what changes and additions I could. Thanks for the heads-up. It was good to revisit the Gibson's.

Thank you for bringing this to my attention. I re looked at the death certificate for Margaret Stoots, and it stated that the cemetery she was buried in was North Hill Cemetery in 1940. I will do a little more checking to see if you could be right and it is actually in the West Hill. Thank you for helping me.

Hi, Faye, you have noted that there are two cemeteries on findagrave that are the same. I am trying to link family members with their kin in Westhill Cemetery and it is quite confusing to me because some kin are listed in both Norch Church Street and in North Hill and some are listed in one but not the other.
I'm going to recommend that Find A Grave merge the two cemeteries. I plan to ask Find A Grave to take North Hill Cemetery and merge it into North Church Street Cemetery, keeping the current description, map, etc. Then, the duplicates entries can be cleaned up, which won't be difficult.
Since you had a role in creating the most complete cemetery record, is this OK with you?
