Bio and Links
Bio Photo I love the old cemeteries and they are disappearing. Some in my area are grown up with trees, they actually are in woods. Stones are broken or completely gone. My ancestors are in these cemeteries and they are disappearing also. I plan on recording info and taking pics, as I can, before those that are left becomes history. Seeing this tells me there are thousands of graves that are forever gone already. I would be happy to turn over management of a memorial that isn't in my direct ancestory lineage. Please dont be offended if it is and I do not want to give it up.

Thanks for the reply and offer to transfer. Since you knew him, you should retain the memorial. He was a distant relative of my late husband. Sandi

Thanks so much for puttong the photo of his stone on his memorial. Photos make them so much more complete. It is the icing on the cake. Your help with Find A Grave is very appreciated.
This site is such a great help with genealogy research. Some people would never know where their loved ones were laid to rest without it.
Please keep up the good work for all those who are unable to travel to their ancestors graves.

Thank you for the headstone photo of my late husband's cousin. I happened to notice you were the original contributor of the memorial. I would like to post the photo in our family tree on, crediting you for the photo. Please let me know if you have an objection. Thanks again, Sandi

RE: Suthards Church
When I went to the cemetery, I approached it from the opposite end of Suthards Church Road, so I located the church before the cemetery. Thanks for contacting me, and happy hunting. D. L.

Hello Shelia,
Good to hear from you again.
I'm really happy you were able to uncover some of the old stones. It certainly appears they may have been lost forever, if you hadn't photographed them.
I truly appreciate your efforts of helping maintain
our heritage.
Also, thanks for letting me know you added them to the memorials.
Best Regards,
Van Laffoon
