Retired teacher, moved from Maine to Kentucky in 2007 to enjoy the mild winters. Now heavily interested in history and genealogy of the Boyle-Casey county area since I have a cemetery in my back yard (May #1, Boyle County). Also president of the Boyle County Genealogical Association, vice-president of the Oakland (Maine) Area Historical Society, and member of the African-American Genealogy Group of Kentucky, Kentucky Historical Society, and Kentucky Genealogical Society, and the newly-formed Danville Boyle County (KY) African American Historical Society. But I'm white and I have NO ancestors south or west of Boston!|
If you have relatives in Boyle County, Kentucky, PLEASE check out my web page at http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~kyboyle2/Index.htm.
If you have relatives in or around Oakland, Kennebec County, maine, check out my OTHER web page at http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~mecoakla/index.htm.

Thanks for transferring that record to Tim and Grace. Tim is helping me link my family together. You couldn't have transferred it to a better person!

Thank you so very much
|Shirley Hammons Smith||Pendygraft|
Hi. I have been trying to find a Donald Pendygraft for several years. His mother married ?? Pendygraft from Marion County, Ky. They had 2 sons (Larry b. 1946 and Donald b. 1948). She left her husband, taking the oldest with her and leaving the youngest with his father and/or grandparents. She was my sister-in-law but none of us knew about the son Donald until the late 1960's and have been searching for him ever since. We found out from his brother Larry who came from California searching for him as soon as his mother told him about his brother. Since retirement a few months ago, I have been searching Ancestry.com, Findagrave, etc. A blank. Since you are doing so much in that area, have you by any chance, run across a Donald Pendygraft. Or he may not be alive now. He might enjoy knowing that he was not ignored by the rest of the Smith family - we just did not know he existed. By the way, David Gambrel is my neighbor and friend.

It was nice meeting you today. Thanks for all of your work.
|Sue Lapp||Thank You Very Much|
The transfers are greatly appreciated, I don't remember getting so many from one person before, but he shows you care about relatives caring for each other instead of numbers.

You have this memorial entered into City "of" Bickford Cemetery, Somerset county, Smithfield,Maine.
Could you make a correction to the title of this cemetery, delete this cemetery (there is a Bickford Cemetery created") and add to the Bickford cemetery or make your correction and merge the 2 cemeteries together thru FindAGrave. I have a photo of the gravestone to add to this memorial. I am currently adding more names to the Bickford cemetery. Any questions, let me know. Thanks for all you do!
|Janet Stout||Geo. M Peavey|
You have listed that George M. Peavey is OSSW Jasper when in fact he is OSSW his wife Mary in Lewis Cem, Oakland, Kennebec Co., MA. Please correct. Jasper is OSSW with his wife Bernice. Thank you. Janet
|Wayne & Diane King||King Family in Parksville Cemetery|
Mike: I believe we met once at Connie's Restaurant and had a good talk. I am a retired school adm. from Anderson County. My Dad was born and raised on Tennessee Ridge, however I live in Shelbyville, KY. Thanks for all the work you've done especially with the Parksville Cemetery. Would you please tranfer over my grandparents, aunts and uncles? I've added photos of each already and can add a lot of additional info. They are (in search order) Minnie F (King) Collins, Clarence E King, Herstle King, Minna S King, Ollie P King, Thomas L King, Viola E King and Virgil L King. Also, please transfer Raymond Lister. Thanks.
