I have lived my life in IN, and recently retired to KY. Loving it. Just recently found this site, and just found my grandparents and great grandparents graves in Muhlenberg county.
I was a Mayes, then an Allen, and now a Nabours.

I have visited several cemeteries where our relatives are buried, and have added several of my husband's family and mine. And every once in awhile I will take pictures of other headstones and come home to search that cemetery and have to add them, as they have not been.

RE: Anna Marin Meyers Stewart
Done. Check and see that I did it right, because they are in McCord Cemetery, not Meyers Cemetery.

FYI - you could have linked them up with the "edit" button on the top of the memorial by there the "flowers" button is. A fairly new feature from FindAGrave. You can only link up parents and spouses tho.

Check to see if you have any "pending edits" from other folks to you. Click on your name under the "Logged in as" and then click on the "edit" tab at the top. New things are always popping up on Find A Grave.

Carneal Cemeteries
Hi Carolyn! I see where you have added pictures to both the Muhlenberg and Todd Carneal Cemeteries. I have an old list of the Todd County one and some of the one that are listed on Find A Grave in Muhlenberg are showing up on the Todd list. Were is the Muhlenberg one? The Todd one is on Jason Ridge Road and has been listed as Jason Ridge Cemetery as well as Carneal. Another confusioning situation.

No Carolyn I don't, sorry. I was there once but that was a while back and I didn't drive. My memory isn't so good anymore :(

RE: Ruby Ellen Daniel
Wow! What a coincidence. And thanks so much.

I actually have no idea what the connection to the Daniels is. The ancestor I am looking for is a Massey Thomas and his wife Dicey Thomas (ne Tolbert or Talbert or...). I have the info I do on Massey because he was a Revolutionary War veteran and his wife got a pension so there are some records. He was born in 1760 and died in 1818, to put it in a time frame for you.

According to my records he had five children, four boys and a girl. The girl was named Rhoda and married someone named Joseph Gentry and continued to live in Kentucky. (My ancestor was one of the sons, James, who was a wanderer and ended up in California having left at lest 13 kids in various places along the way, which is what has kept me so busy.) The other sons were Benjamin, John and William Massey.

Anyway, as I said, the only note I have on burial is that Massey and Dicey are buried on Ruby Ellen Daniel's farm, in graves marked with stones but with nothing written on them.

So now you know pretty much all I know. If any of this makes a connection I'd love to know it. And thanks so much for thinking of me.
