We have learned that walking the cemeteries and taking photos are more accurate for adding data |
I am happy to transfer if they are family. P,ease use edit tab for changes.
Four years ago we started using Find a Grave and just was out there looking for relatives. It is not a numbers game for me. It found us roaming around in cemeteries trying to locate my ancestors. We have been doing many memorials of people in many cemeteries. If you see someone that is your relative please ask for a transfer. We mostly have been in cemeteries in Webster Co, Hopkins Co Ky Recently we have been doing many Posey Co Indiana Cemeteries. I hope we can make a difference for people interested in locating their family. We long ago decided that inputting names from a book from libraries or other sources are subject to inaccuracy. You have to do the actual walking in the cemeteries to confirm dates and names and families. We take managing memorials seriously. If you want the memorials, you tacitly accept the responsibility of editing them.
My family lines are Foster , Egloff. Sanders
Lively ,Maag Huskey ,Cobb and Cates.
Thanks to my husband Milton Yuan for developing my family genealogy website I want to share the link with you www.webclad.com/genealogy It will link my family and ancestors and added pictures that have been collected and shared with anyone interested in the Foster/Egloff/Lively/Maag family
In the event that i am unable to continue to manage my memorials. I want my husband will manage my memorials.

|Patti Joyner||Weston Heinrich|
I sent a letter to Dr. Heinrich about the photo of his father to his office. I did not receive a reply. Maybe he didn't get it or thought that I wanted money. (I don't) I will be happy to mail it to you and you can give it to him or one of his siblings. Please send me your address to send it to email@example.com. Thanks so much.
|GMG||Arthur Stanley Pitman|
Thank you for taking the photographs of the tombstone for Arthur Stanley Pitman; who is buried at Saint Augustine National Cemetery in Saint Augustine, Florida.
Linda, it is thanks to individuals like you; who volunteer their time to bring ancestors closer together, even if it is only through a photograph of their final resting place. This will help future generations in our family to know a little more about their ancestor. ~ with appreciation, George Gaston

|Mike and Jane Deal||Wanda Bonds family at Carolina Mem Park|
Hi Linda, just saw your note. Wanda's Bonds family and my Bonds family are not related but we knew each other having lived in same small town. We were friends of Facebook and I have missed her since she passed away after a short illness last winter.

Lonnie Albin was my homeroom teacher. And I remember Brenda Beeler and Louise Owen from gym class! Boy, that brings back memories.

I just found the connection today that I am related to Robin Williams, so I've been filling in some info. I live in Jackson Co., TN adjacent to Smith Co where his 2 x grt grandparents are buried. I sent links to their memorials. Someone has posted photos of them, but I don't have any photos of this line.
I'm still researching so I will send more edits if I find additional info. Looking for death record of Ellanora Williams, wife of Robert. I saw an Elnora Williams at Oak Hill who at first thought was her, but she died in 1920. Ellanora is still in the 1940 census so that disproves that theory. Still wonder who she is though.
Thanks for all!

As you can see from the photos of the different views of the whole cemetery, there is a lot of empty space. I made memorials for several there but some were already made. In fact, there are 7 memorials created for this cemetery that is actually in another cemetery, so there are even less than is listed.
Could you please tell me what memorial you created? I can't find any with Linda Y listed as creator.

James was married to Martha before Sarah. See 1860 census Jefferson County, Illinois.
A biography for one of Ellanora's brothers
More information for Fitzgerrell and Whitlow
Ellanora was living in Montgomery County, Maryland in 1940. The census states she lived in Evansville, IN in 1930. She is NOT the same person listed online linked to this family by Jason... That woman is buried with George Washington Williams in Delaware County, Indiana
PVT Melvin, John - died at Fort King November 15, 1840; killed by accidental discharge of a comrade's musket on service.
According to the U.S. Department of Veteran's Affairs Database, PVT Melvin is interred under the Dade Pyramids at St. Augustine National Cemetery.
The photos are NOT from St. Augustine. The photos are of his place of death at Fort King in Ocala, Florida. Many of the soldiers who died at Fort King during the 2nd Seminole War were re-interred at St. Augustine.
I hope this clears up any confusion regarding the photos added here.

Thanks for your help in giving Fountain a story and a family rather than just a plot with a headstone with his name misspelled. :o)
