Bio and Links
Bio Photo I love the old cemeteries and they are disappearing. Some in my area are grown up with trees, they actually are in woods. Stones are broken or completely gone. My ancestors are in these cemeteries and they are disappearing also. I plan on recording info and taking photos, as I can, before those that are left becomes history. Seeing this tells me there are thousands of graves that are forever gone already. I would be happy to turn over management of a memorial that isn't in my direct ancestry lineage. Please don't be offended if it is and I do not want to give it up.

RE: Prospect Cemetery, Hopkins Co., Ky
For the most part, I am finished uploading the photographs that I had taken at Prospect Cemetery. I have a few that I am going to try to match up with information listed in the Hopkins County Cemeteries book. Hopefully I will be able to make a connection. Again, thank you for all of your kindness and help. D. L.

It's so easy to make mistakes. I had someone send me a correction on a memorial I had created for a dear friend of mine. I has his birth date as 1600 something. I actually found it a little humor in it considering who's memorial it was--he loved to joke. Thank you again for working with me on this. I have just a few more days before school starts so I am trying to wrap up some loose ends.

RE: Transfers
Thank you for all of your help and kindness. Together we added a great deal of data that hopefully will help other researchers. Any additional memorials that I create in the future, I will pass along to you. Keep using your passion to pay it forward. D. L.

When I get completely finished entering everything I have for Prospect Cemetery, I would like to transfer the additional memorials that I have created to your care if that is okay.

I have seen things just as strange! If you look at the photo I posted to his father's memorial, it look about like what you described.

Since we have verified that it is the same marker, I have sent edits for dates and his parents' links through the tab system.

Another strange thing is his mother's name was "James Elizabeth". I have found three documents with it listed this way. On another, the person wrote "James" and corrected over it to change it to "Jane".

Thank you again for all of your help. D. L.

I need your help. Please look at memorial #80708184 and see if you think the photo I posted corresponds to this memorial.

Since there was a notation that this marker was hard to read, I think possibly there was an original marker from which your information was copied. Often there is a larger marker for a child erected at a later date or the information is added to the face of another family member's marker.

Another possibility is that this is a different individual.

Thanks, D. L.

I was wondering if you might have these and if so would you put them on these family members graves for me? They are all buried at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in Madisonville, Kentucky. Thank you for any you may have and add to their memorials. Your help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks for your help. I understand about limited time. I teach, so this is mostly a summer project for me. Please let me know if you have any question related to an edit, and again, thank you for all of your amazing work. D. L.

Jeremiah Franklin
Hi Sheila,

How far back is Jeremiah documented to? Some people show his line going to Lawrence Franklin born circa 1698 in Essex/Spottsylvania Co. I am interested in this line since Lawrence is a brother to my 7thGGF Edward Franklin Sr. Thanks.
