I love the old cemeteries and they are disappearing. Some in my area are grown up with trees, they actually are in woods. Stones are broken or completely gone. My ancestors are in these cemeteries and they are disappearing also. I plan on recording info and taking pics, as I can, before those that are left becomes history. Seeing this tells me there are thousands of graves that are forever gone already. I would be happy to turn over management of a memorial that isn't in my direct ancestory lineage. Please dont be offended if it is and I do not want to give it up. |

I have emailed you in the past, but have lost your email address. The last 2 times I was in Ky I have looked for Stony Point Cemetery. I know you said my ancestors Jessee and Sarah Parish's stone were no longer there but i would still like to see the cemetery. I have been to Home Site Cemetery and have seen the church on the corner. I will be going to Ky in May. Would you be able to give me exact directions to the cemetery?
Do you know anyone who wouldn't mind photographing my gggrandmother's gravesite? Her death certificate says she was buried in Purdy Cemetery. Her name is "Mary Rebecca WILLIAMS (maiden name is CLEAVENGER) born 16 Mar 1837 - died 04 Jul 1913. Just in case her husband was buried in the same cemetery... his name is Robert Huston WILLIAMS: 06 Jul 1838 - died 30 Oct 1882.
I would just need a photo emailed to me and I would pay them for doing this for me. It would be greatly appreciated. I live in Florida and am unable to travel.

Yes that number was correct. Sorry about the tying error.
Thanks for writing me back. I wanted to go there but it will be awhile, had to have my hip replaced and that walk would get to me as of now I just went back to work and starting to build strength. If you would send me a close up of Annie's marker that would be nice. Thank You for your help you have been so kind.
