Bio

My name is Tina. Over the last few years I have come to love researching my ancestry and helping others. I have always been a history buff. My husband Douglass and I both do this together. I could never have imagined how much I loved to do this. I was always scared of cemeteries...now I just find them quiet and comforting and peaceful...filled with people I would have loved to meet!

I would greatly appreciate it if, there is anyone out there, in the areas of Kansas City, MO., Los Angeles, CA, Buffalo, NY and Johnstown, PA that might be willing to look up and see if there are obits in these areas? For some of my descendants. Some things are just not easy to find and cannot be found online. I, would also be willing to do the same. For the Akron, Summit County area. Maybe we can help each other?

My families I am trying to research are In Ohio that settled here in the early 1800s to mid 1800s Harpster, Burwell, Sigler, Longenecker,Seibert all in Wayne/Ashland Co.& PA . Bossart, Shoup, Palmer, Bell and Peddicord of Blairsville and surrounding areas,PA. Meese, Wagner,McVaddin/McFadden, Penrod, Sommerset,PA area. Zimmerman, Roedal, and Wirth Germany to Johnstown,PA. Baker, Chamberlain and Ruple, Beers, (Stow,OH & East Cleveland, OH).
