|Do It Now|
I expect to pass through this world
Any good thing, therefore, that I can do
or any kindness that I can show
to any fellow human being
let me do it now.
Let me not defer nor neglect it,
for I shall not pass this way again.
– Stephen Grellet
1773–1855, Quaker missionary

|Donna Alexander Lander||elizabeth Cade Photo request, Greenwood Cemetery, Jackson MS|
A volunteer with the Historical Assoc for the cemetery responded to me when I was trying to find the grave to honor your request
The first name on the list is Elizabeth Care who is listed in the records as being buried in the old cemetery in 1880. I can guess where she is buried but there is no extant marker for her. She is the sister of Cynthia Thomson, my relative over in section 2 where the nice bench is now, and the mother of the niece of Cynthia Cade also buried in that lot. There is another daughter, Ann Cade Tabley buried in Section 5 and a grandson is buried in the old cemetery with his mother Ada Cade.

I would have had her with just the middle initial, according to what is on the tombstone, and someone who had better knowledge of the family than myself would have requested that Jackson was her middle name. Unfortunately, due to the high volume of SAC requests, it would be impossible to keep records from each request. If you have information that is contrary to what was already submitted, I would certainly take it under consideration.

|Dianaღ||RE: James H. Biggs photo|
I photographed the entire cemetery several years back. That was the only Biggs headstone in the cemetery at the time. I suppose there could be an unmarked grave or a new burial.
The census information that is posted in the memorial is for Stoddard County, MO. This Hilton cemetery is in Barry County.
Did your relative live in Barry County, MO? What are his birth and death dates?

|In Search Of||RE: Thank you foyour careful study and your kind help to our family.|
That's why as Genealogy is to help others in searching for missing info or even unknown children who were born between census, who also died between census.

James F Farrar Memorial# 39086752 married Jessie Henvey 1879-1970 Memorial# 39086764. I believe Jesse and I are related through a common immigrant ancestor though I haven't been able to prove it. Is there a wise 'ole Farrar sage I could exchange a little information with?

|kershaw||Joseph William Farrar|
Do you know anything about the son of the parents at this Find A Grave # 117944090? He was Joseph William Farrar b. @ 1859 Chatham NC, married Anna Elizabeth Holleman # 15592809. In 1920 and 1930 she's with her children listed as a widow but Joseph seems to be in Washington DC listed with no occupation, married, and living alone in a boarding house. There is not record (to be found so far) of him dying before 1920. The family was together in 1910. All the trees I find with Joseph set a death date for him of 5 Jan 1931 in DC. Ezra B Thompson was a well known photographer in DC and research is being done on him for a collection. He was son of Anna Christophers Thompson Holleman. She was also the mother of Joseph's wife. Any ideas much appreciated. Denise

Please contact me at your convenience (firstname.lastname@example.org). I'm a relative. Carolyn I. Pittman was my 3rd cousin. Our common ancestors are the Russ family of Shelbyville. THANKS for posting and maintaining the family memorials and I look forward to hearing from you soon and learning about the Russ/Durham lineage. Thanks! - Mike

I went out to the Murray Cemetery this morning and there's way too much snow to even think about taking a picture. As cold as it is here the snow's going to be there for quite a while so you might want to think about requesting your picture at a later time.

If you call the cemetery they will happily give you the plot, section and row. Then let me know and I will honor your request.
